I've been able to experiment with a couple of new discs lately, and was wondering if anyone could spare some disc advice. I threw a friend's 175 dx eagle and easily threw my longest and most accurate/controllable throws. I just bought a 166 champion beast (the store must have been out of eagles or something, so I decided to try something new), but I can't seem to turn it over at all. Are there any discs similar to the eagle in stability that maybe have a little more distance? I get pretty good distance out of the beast, but I really need quite a bit of space for it to hyzer back to where I want it. Any advice on discs and/or how to get this beast to do what I want would be awesome.

its champ plastic, the disc needs more speed to make its line. dx will fly less stable in most cases, pick up a dx eagle if it flew that far, if not trade your friend.

DX Eagle is one of the most underrated discs in the world. I carry a 168g DX Eagle all the time. They make great rollers, too, so they have a long useable lifespan.

I probably will end up buying a dx eagle when I get the chance. How do the champion drivers age? I know they are much more durable than the dx plastic, but do their flights change noticably after a while, or are they pretty indestructible? I've been throwing all dx previously.

well i've been playing for a little over a year and i still have a monster from when i started.. it isn't quite as stable as when i got it, but it's still predictably stable with a hard fade at the end.
I have an 11x Teebird that i've been throwing for a year and half and it now flies dead straight for me with a little fade at the end.
the champion PLastic holds up pretty well in my opinion and since i started with champion plastic i never noticed a loss of feel or grip becuase i neverf got into throwing DX drivers.. I actually dont know if i've ever owned a DX driver.

I have found that the Champion Eagles are a lot more overstable than the DX Eagles. I carry both, but they don't fly much alike for me.

Champion Eagles are very overstable compared with it's dx counterpart, especially in the heavier weights. The best eagles were/are the 10x KC Pro, right around 167g! I just lost mine due to the tropical storm that centered over Temperance, MI, more specifically Vienna Park hole 5! Booooooo!!!! If anyone has any of them around that weight they would be willing to part with, shoot me a pm!
