Funny you should ask. I have a red first run TL that I love (though I'm shy about throwing it a lot) and picked up a CFR TL from the Yadkinville club. This disc is the WORST interpretation of a TL I have ever thrown. I have tried it for several days its still in the bag B/C I wanted to give it every chance to make me proud and it's just one dissapointment after another. Biggest hunk of junk I've thrown.

If you don't want the CFR tl Tim, I'll take if from ya. We'll work out a deal for a trade.

In my opinion, out of the box, the CFR is more overstable, but I'm darn sure it's the same mold. The CFR is also more durable and the CE will continue to get less stable thru its life.

I use my CFR TL on 300-400 anhyzers. I find I have to change my drive when I throw my TL. When I put alot of power on it, I can't really control it. But when I try to throw with the smoothest stroke possible, then it gives me a nice accurate annie line. Smooth is key with this disc, IMO.

Ok I have thrown many tl's, first run CE, last run CE, CFR from 2003, 2004, and 2005. Glow tl's pretty much all except for middle run CE's. The glow, last run CE and CFR's all fly the same. There is one exception, CFR tl's in the pearl plastic that orcs first came out in, cool flatter so they're faster, they're slightly less stable, and fly a little farther than 1st run CE's (I threw a red one). I was only able to find three in New England. I think Jason has some at his shop, I have a couple of 8/10's at 169 if anyone wants them, they're sweet and fly the best.
