The courses being used;

Wellspring, Alt and Reg.

Cedarock, Short pin placement, Alt and Reg pads.

Grasse's flyer says something about a birdie fest.

Once upon a time we played only two eighteen hole courses, I played last year and there were those straight shots in the back of the Roc that were a little odd. I was simply wondering if that is now the norm. But alas, I guess really It_Doesnt_Matter eh? Peace.

When you first pull in, where the historic farm is, there is a huge feild right next to it. Thats where the camping generally is.

Its on the right side of the main road you drive into the park on. Right across from Holes 19-20. They usually ask people to camp close to the wood line, near the back.

I still do not think my rounds on sunday will be 1000 though. Maybe if we played the same course at the same time with the pro's but we shal see hopefully.

I had a good time this weekend and it felt good to finally put some good rounds in.

Dang, Mike! I miss the tournament and you shoots the lights out!

Hysell claims I'm a jinx because he never plays well in tournaments I show up at. Maybe the two of you need to start paying me NOT to show up. :D

I am attributing my play to the following factors at this time. Anna, Nikki, Ryanne, and Cuervo 1800. Got to bed @ 6:15 Sunday morning up @ 7:15 to get ready for golf. Then to Bo*jangles for a chicken filet biscuit. The best cure for any hangover.

The first few holes were a little rough.

On sunday I had 8 pars 3 bogeys and 27 birdies. Longest 2 putts were 17 Wellspring which was about 60 feet for a 3 and 16 Cedarrock was about 40 for a 2.

Most other putts were under 10 feet.

It was def a nice way to finish in the cash for the first time after being dead last after the first round on sat.

No doubt great shooting Mr. Norris!

Thanks to Bobby & Grasse and all the other staff who made the Alamance County Pro-Am another great NC tourney.
Congrats to my wife for her second ACE. (Both have been in PDGA tournaments). Also to Mandi for knocking down TWO GREAT ACES! Mandi also shot a very nice 4th round! Whipped my fanny! :D

Congrats to Walt "Snoop" Haney on the big W!
Man, do you own LL in playoffs? :o

I would love to post scores but I have not yet received the password to upload the scores.

Since Bobby does not have email they could not send him the password.

I have emailed 2 people to ask for the password but perhaps they are on vaccation. I will see if I can find another person to request the password from.

Bobby should be receiving the mostly complete spreadsheet by tomorrow so he can finalize it and send it to the PDGA.

If it gets submitted soon it would be included in the next ratings update I think. The next ratings update should be in a few weeks.

scores are now up (http://www.pdga.com/tournament/tournament_results.php?TournID=5197&year=2005&includeRatings=1) with correct ratings I think.

Somebody let me know if the course layouts are off.

This is what I have.

<table border="1"><tr><td>R1</td><td>R2</td><td>R3</td><td>R4
</td></tr><tr><td>MPO</td><td>WL</td><td>CL</td><td>WS</td><td>CS
</td></tr><tr><td>FPO</td><td>WL</td><td>CL</td><td>WS</td><td>CS
</td></tr><tr><td>MPM</td><td>WL</td><td>CL</td><td>WS</td><td>CS
</td></tr><tr><td>MA1</td><td>CL</td><td>WL</td><td>CS</td><td>WS
</td></tr><tr><td>MA2</td><td>CL</td><td>WL</td><td>CS</td><td>WS
</td></tr><tr><td>MA3</td><td>CL</td><td>WL</td><td>CS</td><td>WS
</td></tr><tr><td>MG1</td><td>CL</td><td>WL</td><td>CS</td><td>WS
</td></tr><tr><td>FW1</td><td>CL</td><td>WL</td><td>CS</td><td>WS
</td></tr><tr><td>FW2</td><td>CL</td><td>WL</td><td>CS</td><td>WS</tr></td></table>

The codes stand for the following.

CL - CedarRock Long (I know not long long but of the 2 it was the longer layout)
CS - CedarRock Short
WL - WellSpring Long
WS - WellSpring Short

good shooting mike. its funny i played with the person shooting the hot round in adv 3 out of 4 rounds while i personally busted out my two lowest round ratings ever.

That last round was HOT Jack! At least you were laughing and had a good time. See ya at Zeb.

Jun 30 2005, 02:52 PM
Well I got my first cash in adv and my first 1000 rated round. Hopefully this means I am improving.

Now to shoot for 3 1000's rated rounds. :p

I have to say that playing that day it did not feel like what I anticipated 1000 rated golf to feel like. Everything seemed so smooth and I felt I left a lot out there.

I calculated what the round rating would have been for the last round had I hit the last 8 foot putt instead of 3 putting and that round was a 1026.

I guess I will see everybody @ zeb as one last practice before mid-nationals.

That last round is HoTT!!!
806 baby!!! Not bad for an all lefty round...The first three round i really tried, just couldn't putt outside 12 feet. Something's horribly wrong with my grip I think, I'll try to fix that this weekend. Nice shootin Mike.

if you could putt lefty you woulda shot like 930....it was fun to watch

Jun 30 2005, 04:53 PM
I think that your putt would improve if you changed putters. Try something new. If your missing 12 footers it can't get any worse.
