I have had a situation that I have been asked to clarify...

According to the <font color="blue"> 2005 PDGA Tour: Table of Player Dividions, Ratings & Point Factors </font> (http://www.pdga.com/documents/05PlayerDivisionsTable.pdf), It seems to say that ALL AMS with a rating over 915 MUST play ADVANCED.
It depends on HOW you read into it. Even though it says that for MM1 the "Rating Eligible" is ANY, but then it states that ANY(required for 915+) in ADVANCED.

Am I just reading into it to much or would ALL AMS over 915 , REGARDLESS of AGE, have to play ADVANCED.

Amateur players over 39 do not have to play Advanced regardless of rating. There's no ratings cap on any age division that forces an older Am to play Advanced nor an older Pro to play Open. They can increase their rating as high as possible in the Advanced or Pro division in their age group without being forced to a younger division.

ie, a 40-or-older player can play MM1 regardless of rating. unless he is a "pro" in which case his rating must be below 915 to compete in MM1.

There also is no cap on what a younger player must play.
EX a 15 year old 1000 rated player can play Jr or ADV as long as he has not already accepted cash.

I have also found at least 2 people in my tourney that signed up as Int but with the NEW ratings I get to inform them of a slight division change :o
