Was anyone fond of these titles anyway? (created by you-know-who)
0 Lurker
20 Disc Dropper
40 Disc Wobbler
60 Tree Wapper
100 Worm Burner
150 Sky Pilot
250 Grip Locker
300 Hyzeritis
350 Chicken Winger
400 Hyzer Tosser
500 Anhyzer Flex
700 Helix Master
900 Turnover Beast
1100 Thumber King
1300 Roller Queen
1500 Flex Bone Crusher
2000 George of the?
2500 Shule Tool
3500 Carpal Cranker
6000 Blown Rotator Cuff
Nick offered to run contest winners...I don't think there were many 'takers'. They're spaced too closely, esp at the front, but it's fine.
"Pluto Platter" for 8K; "Frisbie Pie" for 10K. :)

Yep, apparently it's very difficult and time-consuming to implement the code that will stop post counts - which we will do sometime, just not yet. But I discovered that I could remove the 'titles' and did so, in the hope of reducing some of the intensity of the 'post-count' competition. Yeah, you can still see the numbers, but the titles were more visible and they're gone; except that we're all disc golfers. Which is, itself, a nice reminder how much we are all alike.
What I'd really like is if we could somehow make the 'title' line be each members' best win, so mine could read "2000 Amateur Grand Master World Champion"?

Actually, I really like the idea of having the title be your biggest (or most recent) win... that'd be really cool, because even Novices (like me) could get into it once they won something for the first time. Heck, you could even put a 2nd or 3rd place in if you want... you should definitely implement that (IMO)... of course, then you would get a wise[donkey] on the board (like myself) who would "host" their own tournament with a name like "Universal Premier Disc Golf Experts Challenge" and then take "first" because no one else showed up (or was denied entrance :) ) and then put that on their title...
Still though... good idea...

Went looking for lurkers, and noticed that the members with 0 posts were showing up as DiscGolfer.
Then I started to notice how many members had 0 posts.
There were 2425 members with 0 posts
An additional 660 with only 1 post
Another 353 with 2 posts
Add in 899 with between 3 and 10 posts.
There were 4337 members with 10 or fewer posts.
There are only 1554 members with more than 10 posts.
565 with more than 100 posts
106 with more than 1000 posts
and only 35 with more than 2000 posts.
I am so easily distracted into meaningless trivia.
Wait, I missread this thread's title. HUGE disappointment.

I must once again register my strong feeling that the title 'Senior Grandmaster' should be changed.

senior grandmaster and legend should both go bye-bye. do we really need a different division for each 10 year increment? and whats with the "legends" moniker anyway? just cuz someone is old (and we all will be someday) doesnt mean they are "legends".
How many people can name an Octogenarian whom isn't even a tad legendary on their Home course?

...next year, God & co. willing, Eldo will have three active Living Legends...not counting the course Itself. ;)
