Anyone played a 9 hole Disc Golf course in Pensylvania called Moon Lake? My mother in law is setting up a family camping trip this Summer and the pamphlet has 9 holes of Disc Golf listed as an activity. I was not able to find it in the course directory.

Thanks,

I would contact Greg Celosczyk ([email protected]) - he may have some information.

It's in the Poconos region of northeastern PA. I'm not exactly sure where, but I think it is located west of Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, between Ricketts Glen State Park and Wilkes-Barre.

The web sight (www.moonlakepark.com) says it is in Hunlock Creek, PA which is North West, PA.

I am just curious to know what the course is like. Wondering if its a short, non-challenging course where I will only need one Disc or if its something that will keep me occupied for more than a round or two.

Also I wanted to make sure it wasn't a pole-hole course and it actually had baskets.

Thanks,

Yes, it is in the general neighborhood of Hunlock Creek, PA. As I indicated, this is just west of Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, in the northeastern portion of the state.

FYI, "poleholes" and "baskets" are the same thing. A polehole course means that it has baskets. A target course will have 4x4 posts, Tube-tones, or other targets.
