Are the baskets welded at Crowley?????

One thing you have to do is weld the bolts and nuts that hold the chain support and pan on the pole. If you do not have a welder, I have used longer bolts and after the nut is tightend, take a hammer and bend over the bolt so the nut cannot be removed.

This is really a shame. All the damage that has been done at Veterans and the theft at Bear Creek it really sucks that they have moved to Crowley!!

I think they just have a pin going through and then bent. I work at a fab shop I guess I could find out about welding the baskets!

That would be good to at least deter the theft. If they REALLY want to steal a basket, they are going to do it.

I agree but you cant just give these baskets away. You need to make it a pain in the [inappropriate word]!

Yes, you do need to make it as hard as possible. Been trying for years to do that at Veterans. Short of making each pin stationary, it is really tough to make them totaly secure. If someone produced some sort of cover that went around the lock, pin and sleeve I think that would deter allot of the problems.

I work at a fab shop if you guys have a design we could probably make it or design it as well. I can do most of the work except the welding to keep the cost down. But if you are interested let me know.
