The Venom is very fast and over-stable. I would rate its speed and stability in between the Talon and the Flick. It only comes in Discraft's "D" plastic and it is very grippy. This disc will be especially perfect for those windy and rainy days, but don't just leave it in the closet for inclimate weather; it is great in all conditions.

The venom is a really fast overstable driver only made in D plastic. I personally think it is a great driver and is really grippy when it gets wet out. It beats in a little quick but besides that an all around great disc.

Will it be eventually coming out in the good plastics?

Overstable??

I have a 174g that I got in the BG players package, it was VERY neutral. I threw perfectly straight and no fade. I am not throwing it anymore because with it only in D-Plastic when it hits something it will turn over too much for me.

I was told that they cannot make it in Z-plastic because it will be too heavy.

No. Both the Venom and the Drone are "D-only" molds. When run in the other plastics they are just too heavy. A little silly I think.

What do you mean by silly? They're only going by PDGA standards you know...Gateway's Demon and Illusion are hard to run in clear "E" plastic for the same reason...they come out too heavy.
