Last night a FIRE DESTROYED Tulsa Disc Golfer STEVE NAEGELEs' Apartment. EVERYTHING was DESTROYED in this fire. Steve was at Twoputts house when it happened and was not hurt.
Steve did not have renters insurance and is unfortunately left with just the clothes he was wearing and the Discs that were in his car.

Anyone who knows Steve knows that he is a very giving person and always helps out. Steve is a great guy and it is unfortunate that fate has dealt him this card.

We can all do our part to help him out in his time of need.
Twoputt and the Tulsa Disc Sports Association have set up a fund to help Steve with the much needed things like...Clothing, Toiletries, Food and Medicine. You can make your donation to the Tulsa Disc Sports Association. Twoputt will post payment info very soon.
The fund was started with a $100.00 Donation from the Dave Wise family.

In the short time I had to gather stuff for him yesterday, pleople really came together to help, Steve was able to go shopping last night for work clothes and shoes so he can go to work this week. I don't think they would have liked the shorts and tye dye shirt he had left to wear.

Steve's doing pretty good and tries to laugh about it, but this has definately turned his world upside down.

Oh I forgot, the dog was okay, he got out when the fire department kicked in the door and he only had minor burns on his front legs. The disc collection that he had on all of his walls was in a big melted puddle on the floor.
Did you know heat treating a soft aviar will make it stiff?

Ill be throwing some loot into that paypal account for Steve. I just totalled my truck and didnt have collision insurance on that. Not that its ANYTHING like having your house burn down but I know that hopeless feeling that comes with something like that.

I would like to thank the golfers that have come to the aid of a fellow member. Its friendships like this that last a lifetime. Unfortunately some of those freindships are with individuals like FurDog.
