What is the difference between the old SE and Pro plastic in your opinion.

I think the old SE plastic held up a lot better than the new Pro plastic.

I've had, and have, both in my bag and like the "feel" of the new Pro in my hand better than the SE. It's a little more tacky/sticky. The initial version of the new Pro plastic left something to be desired in the durability department, but the new stuff, especially the Pro Starfires seems to be handling the abuse very well. Memory can be kind of a selective thing, but to me the new Pro plastic is more user friendly and durable than the old SE. Beyond that, it's readily available at a reasonable price.

The ProLine does seem to be more durable; the SE line tends to taco easily, and stay tacoed. But the ProLine generally seems more stable/overstable and less flippy than the SE lines.

Well one of the discs I throw the most is the SE leopard... I have about 3 in my bag and still have about 4 new ones left. I have been throwing a few of the new pro leopards and find that they feel and fly about the same but the new pro plastice definately gets beat up a little faster than the SE has.

I still do not like the new pro plastic, every disc I have had does not hold up well with it. I am also sick of innova changing what types of plastic they use every single run...

I likes the old SE better than the new stuff. It felt stiff yet grippy. I find the new stuff to be too soft.

Agreed, new proline starfire 166 gr., bought in march, now turns over more than my 168 sidewinder. i can only use it with a tail wind, a STRONG tailwind.....

I loved my SE leopard. I've noticed that the earlier Pro I've used tends to wear fairly quickly, but I like the grippyness of it and how the molds feel in it. That's the purpose of the pros and I think it does a great job with it.. even better than the SE. I think a few more runs of pro will be all it takes for pro to suceed SE in all areas (couldve already happened, I havent tried any of the newest pro). I love Innova, but I think Discraft's plastics are what is keeping them on the market. Their X and Z plastics are constantly improving and paving the path. I would love to see the newer plastic that is allowing for lighter candy and the evolution of the pro plastic change that, because I love Innova's molds so much.
