Don't know if this has been discussed yet or if anybody has thrown these yet.
I'm thinking that because these discs are light (between 122 and 127 grams) but stable enough to resist the high speed turn, they could be thrown a long, long way. Anyone?

Can I get one of these? I have stuff for trades.
Don't know about the Spirit, but I do have a 121-gm Speed Demon. The problem is that such a light disc is pretty hard to control. It can go far, but you have to take some of the steam off your delivery in order ot control it -- sort of a give and take in that it is harder to put force into the throw when the disc gets that light, but not as much force is needed. It's fun to play around with, at any rate.
It seems interesting, and something the 'other' companies don't have...is there much variety in molds for that range? I'm thinking along the lines of an outfit for a 'lesser' arm, not ONE tricky disc. Because that's what it seems like it would be, one 'freaky' disc 40+ grams different from all it's bagmates. Doesn't that put the freak in ones' timing?

I've never thrown the light Spirits, but I used to throw a 125g Illusion LONG time...it was my longest disc up until its sad departure!!
I count 3 in the bag so far.
All of my wife's drivers are either Gateway 114's
or 138's. We.ve never figured out if they are Sabres,Spirits or what. They are all clear and don't say what they are.
The sabre will have a leopard/teebird type wing. While the spirit will have an orc type of wing width wise. The 120 ish spirits are SICK overstable when brand new. Have never thrown any other X-tra light stuff. Except some 150 elements that i recently got. Those are very nice and not a whole lot different in stability that the heavier ones.
I have a couple of the ultra-light Spirits and I'm not sure they're E as advertised. They are pretty clear, but also are farily easy to deform...and they say they are "S" plastic right on them. ;) I'd expect a TPU blend of plastic to hold its shape better and to be a little slicker. They're fairly grippy. That being said, I'm gald they deform easier. They're also quite a bit more flexable than their S counterparts, which are pretty stiff and more flexable than the glow E.
You can't tell from the pictures, but they are very flat. The only other Spirits I have to compare them to are a heavish S Spirit and a heavy Glow E Spirit. The heavyish S Spirit is a bit domier and the Glow E Spirit is much domier than the ultra-light.
Stability-wise they start off similar to a slightly beat in S Spirit...very overstable. They do break in pretty quick by bending them in your hands. They hold their line very well into the wind but once they start fading you can see the wind batting them around a bit. They don't seem to fly as far for me, but I haven't really given them a good workout yet. Part of it seems to be that because they are so light and flexable they don't skip as well as the normal S. I get quite a bit of distance off that skip.
They're definitely more finiky than the heavier S Spirits (I haven't thrown the E yet). If you even think about throwing it with the nose not down far enough your throw will turn into a huge knife hyzer that still goes pretty far. The S Spirits just seem to crash into the ground if you throw like this.
The next time I take them out I'm hoping it won't be as windy as the first time. I'd like to see how they fly with no wind. I also haven't really experimented with throwing them at different speeds. I'm guessing that backing off them a bit may give better results. I am expecting to have to throw them, at least when new, low, nose down and anhyzer to get them to go anywhere, though. I'm also curious to see what happends when they get beat up.

Yeah, they are a clear run of "S"...without any weighting agents, the plastic runs clear...still "S", just see through!
I have a 166 'h' spirit (great) a 168 'e' spirit (money), and some illusions 170's, where can I find a illusion that is -160? DAve????

The E and H Ilusions are hard to get down under 175.
The only way you will see a 160ish is in the S and we have plenty.
There may be a few 168osh H or E but they would be X outs with sink marks in the wing.
