When I might get assigned to a hole *way* out in the boondocks, I often use my mountain bike to ride out, stash it in the woods, and then ride it back after the round. I am actually not quite sure of the rationale for banning bikes at NT events as they would seem to make nice carts for discs and gear, but it is as Chuck sad, not allowed for NTs.
