ok i know these discs are both out of production(im talking about the old proline leopard), but hopefully some of you can help me out. how are these discs different: flightwise, ect.?

the difference is slight, in my opinion, and is probably about the same as the difference between 1st run ce leopards and every other run of ce leopard. i had 2 first runs and have thrown others' subsequent runs of ce's, and the 1st runs were much straighter/stabler than any of the others (which had a tendency to fade at the end of their flight more). the pro line leopards were great discs, you can't go wrong with any of them if you're looking for a fairway driver.

The Pro Line stuff is excellent.

Both are great plastic. My ce leopards are very used therefore the plastic seems a little softer than the new proline leopards I have. Speed and flight seems to be close between them. I wish they would make all the proline disc with the old proline plastic. I think they would be wanted more than the current champion plastic because of the feel of the plastic.

I have an old CE Leopard that I never thought I would replace, then found a no name Champion Leopard out on the course the other day and it is nearly identical flightwise. I'm not worried about losing ny old CE Lazerpard anymore.

i prefer the champion viking to the champion leopard. to me, the viking is just a faster version of a great, stable disc.

Not much difference at all with the old Pro Line vs. CE Leopards. I like the Lazerpards refrence :cool:Not to big on the Viking but the Sidewinder is finding a spot in the bag!

Just a quick question about my leopard. I have a CE Leopard that I really wouldn't mind getting more of, but from what I understand, the stability from the first runs is different than that of the later runs. Would it be possible to identify the run of an opaque bluish (almost a steel blue) disc with a rainbow stamp?

Thanks,
Chris

Does anyone know if they ran any of the first run CE leopards in blue. i am looking at buying one and the person claims it is first run..

look on the underside of the disc. if the L is inside the center circle and the weight of the disc is outside of the circle, it is LIKELY a 1st run. it is not a guarantee, but is the closest thing that i can think of. there's really not a huge difference between 1st runs and others, but if you're buying it for the quality of being a 1st run, then maybe you should talk to a collector. or you could try asking dave.

1st run Blue Leopards are rare. There are also Green 1st runs, but those are rarer. I have 2 blues. One is Electric/ the othe is stone blue/ blueberry. I wouldnt sell mine for less than 50$, if I were to sell them.
