Hello everyone. Ive been using a Buzzz for straight shots and an Element X for hyzers, but my throw has been getting alot quicker so now theve both turned into anhyzers. Ive been using an Element for anhyzers and it still works great.
Is there a way to fix this or could someone recommend a very very stable midrange disc.
Also, I got my PDGA bag and its pretty big so I am gonna invest in some straps soon. My question is: how do I put the things on myself? Go inside the middle of them?
Thanks for your time.

Is your element-X and S version?
If so you should try an E or H element-X they are a litlle more overstable, especially into a headwind.
Most of the Players who throw exclusively Gateway use Demons and Blazes for the overstable mid-range discs.
I have 3 Blazes( 1 E and 2 S) that are really my main discs for most shots between 275-375.
If you would like to try some more Gateway, we offer some missed stamped specials 5 discs for $35 or 10 discs for $50.

While Dave's recommendations are good, if what you're saying happens in calm conditions, it is likely a form issue where you are putting more arm into your throw than snap and creating off-axis torque at the release. Check out http://discgolfreview.com it's got awesome throwing articles
My element and element x are both E versions.
Im definentily interested. My experience with gateway so far has been great. Thank you very much.
again great tip. Ill look into to that. thanks.

Get a stable Z Buzz and just stick with that. You should be able to throw that for all shots.
If you need a hyzer/wind midrange then go with a heavy Z Wasp
If you want an OVERstable midrange, get a Demon. Once it breaks in its actually fairly straight but it won't turn over. Great disc.
I reccomend a stable buzz zversion as well and also love the heavy z wasp as of lately. The buzz taught me how to get the snap and not overpower it with my arm. great disc the buzz is

Just to clarify, how to tell the difference between a stable Z Buzzz and the straighter less stable counterpart. The stable Buzzz's are flat, really really flat. The straighter less stable ones are domey. Side by side the comparison is night and day. If you can get your hands on a tourney stamped Z-wasp, those are flat as well and super stable.
I also have a Champion Gator as an overstable mid/approach disc, this thing is really hard to turn over, you can try that as well, but does not have near the distance as a Buzzz/Wasp.
If you want an OVERstable midrange, get a Demon. Once it breaks in its actually fairly straight but it won't turn over. Great disc.
Unless you throw it into a strong headwind.

try discraft's new Drone. very stable midrange in great feeling elite plastic. more stable than a z-buzzz, it has the end spot in my bag right after my first run z-buzzz and the two '03 acerace (glides) that fill my midrange space.
if your are turning over buzzzs and Element-x's then that's a mechanics problem..
I throw a Beat in 1st Run Buzzz for all my shots.. Hyzer, STraight, Anny, but mostly STraight..
I put them out about 320 with no problem or fade and i could get them further if i needed..
If you are turning over these discs you have a mechanics problem.. Just make sure your technique is fluid and you aren't rolling your wrist over or trying to throw Too fast or muscle it becuase that will cause turnovers too as well as a huge lose in accuracy.

Aren't the '03 ace race discs "breeze" and the '04 ace race discs "glide" I may be thinking wrong, and if that is the case, I apologize
'03 is breeze
'04 is glide
Thank you. Ill definently fix that. Now that I think about it. i do throw my orcs and my midranges the same way. Thats gonna be a problem.
I have similar problems and I've been finding that spending some time only throwing putters helps out a lot when it comes to throwing slower discs. While they do tolerate different nose angles better than the high speed drivers, they don't tolerate much else and force you to throw with a smooth motion. I've also found it makes for a really easy and relaxing round if you're not spending any time worrying about which disc to throw or beating your previous best score. It's easier to focus on your throw and the shot you're on.

I can turnover my ElementXs. But they usually come back at the end.

I agree. And, you learn how to use your putter for something other than putting. Your putter is a GREAT choice for shorter distance, low wind strait shots. If you get good spin on the disc out of your hand, it will glide forever! I became a real fan of driving with putters after I learned how to throw them for distance. And, all that helped my mid-range disc throwing as well
I just picked up a pro line rhyno last week and I think it'll be my new choice for short holes
it's all about throwing a Beat in 175 Aviar PUtt and Approach for drives! :)
That is until it gets stuck in a tree and you lose it..
Time to beat up another aviar :(
