Hey all.
I ordered a CE sidewinder the other day. Well discfly called and said they were on backorder and that they recommend a Leopard instead because it would be an even better roller. I did it, but will that be ok as a roller? They were also out of the Lightning Tour Deluxe Bag (XL) so I got the PDGA Tour Disc Golf Bag instead. It doesnt look like it will hold enough discs. I am upgrading from a Lightning Small Tour Special Disc Golf Bag that just wouldnt cut it size wise.

A broken in, sometimes new Leopard is a great roller. It is my main roller disc. The Sidewinder is faster then the Leopard, and stays upright longer. For me, the foreseen benefit of the Sidewinder over the Leopard is that the Sidewinder rolls well brand new.
The PDGA Tour bag holds over 20 discs. It is a great bag, I don't foresee having problems with quantity, unless your like me and don't have a good back hand and need multiple turnover discs.

CE sidewinder - I'd love to have one of those. I'd even take a CE leopard.
hmm....a CE sidewinder? is this more or less stable than a champion one. How much did you end up paying for this CE leopard?
Sorry maybe Im saying it wrong. I thought CE was short for champion
When using the term CE, you may cause players that have been playing for a few years become very anxious and have sweaty palms.
CE is the abbreviation for Champion Edition discs, which are no longer in production. they're the innova discs you see selling on ebay for $35+ dollars (besides vintage discs). "champion" is the premium innova plastic that is currently being produced, and although it is similar to the old CE plastic, they are quite different in flight and durability, in my opinion. it doesn't make a difference if you say CE sidewinder, since 99% of the people on here know that there is no such thing and chalk it up to a typo, but when you say CE leopard it makes a difference, since such things are in existence and are quite desirable in some circles (my 1st run is on the wall :D). it's a matter of syntax, but at least now you know.
great thanks.
Im kinda dissapointed though. If the sidewinder stays upright longer and is faster, I probably shoulda stuck with that one... :(

Sidewinders are a dime a dozen online. The Starstamps might be a little harder to come across, but are still available. The CE Leopards are much better rollers than regulaur Champion. In my opinion.

The old SE Leopards are still the best, IMNSHO.
Yes, that's right, I said something nice about an Innova disc. :)
Actually, since I'm not running tourneys anymore (or even really playing, for that matter) I put some Avonni plastic back in my bag last weekend for WD.
The SE Leopard and the original EL CE Eagle. Both are turnover discs from hell. :)
(And no, Jeff L., my Wasps were not replaced by those silly Rocs. :))
