For what it's worth....
I was there a couple of years ago and played all the courses. (South Alabama was not there at the time). Langan Park was my favorite as a good, challenging course in a well-groomed city park.
Chickasabouge, like Cottage Hill, is mostly extremely tight, wooded holes, which is not to my taste (but people I met down there considered them the best in the area). Chickasaw is a fun, hilly, short course in a city park. Fairhope was pretty good, with a mix of woods and wide open holes, a little way out of town. Citronelle, which is way out of town, is in a state-park-like county park; it seemed little used and rough, but was perhaps new at the time. I'd recommend the other, more convenient courses first.
do you know where the course exactly begins? i drove around over there last weekend and saw some holes but i didnt see any course markers
If you are at the bouge the park office is right across the street from hole one .They also have a course map .I think they do a mini there on thurs but that was sevaral years ago .Contact Jim Orum Or Joe Sherrod they can give you all the 411 in the mobile area .
oops i was asking about the south alabama course :) thanks though
I am not sure I played that one ,If it the one with the trian and plane #1 Is kinda of by the pavillion.Sorry for not helping much.
