I looked through nine pages and could not find a thread for this.

Does anyone have any thoughts on Innova's 2005 blend? I can tell by looking at the 300 discs piled up in my living room that it is clearer, stiffer and domier than last year's blend. Because of my bum arm I really can't tell if it flies differently.

Any opinions out there?

I think the new plastic is better now. My Sidewinders seem very durable and are grippy enough. And it seems more consistant color to color than the old pearly plastic.But I heard dave is getting some new plastic so the light weights aren't gummy. I thought everybody liked the gummy stuff. I have a 159 Champion Orc that is not gummy for some strange reason but it flies great.

It does look and feel more durable.

It dyes better! Last year's blend was bleedy over time and if you did sticker work, the sticker gum stuck like bubble gum to hair.

I hope they do away with gummy discs. Those things never fly consistently because they change shape so easy. I love their stiffer champion plastic though, especially the opaque stuff.
