Can you compare the plastic to anything else we've seen from Innova? Also, I want one.

a quick search would answer all your questions...i think this was discussed in detail not too long ago. find it under the "'05 roc info" thread.

happy reading. there will be a test later.

hey lennon.....do you remember how nice and clean the discgolfforum website was? i just can't be bothered to read 70+pages of posts to find out how a disc flys. But thanks for the link, anyway.

Mar 28 2005, 12:28 PM
we're all very sorry your killer discgolfforum is down, but there really is no reason to keep harping on it. be happy with what you have or go find something else.
in short, the '05 special blend CE roc flies a lot like an '05 special blend CE roc. it is dead straight with a slight hyzer finish at the end of its flight (if thrown properly). it will hold a nice anhyzer into a wind or a long, sweeping hyzer with a tailwind. it should be the longest roc in your bag (if you have one), since it will fly a nice, gentle S curve in calm conditions and has lots of carry/float. if you want one, you can still get it for ~$35 on ebay.

you are very welcome (took me a whole 3.2minutes to find that link :p )

I totally miss the DGF...i wonder if there is any hope in it's return (not trying to hijack this thread)

The special blend is a different mold/plastic than the other 05 CE rocs, thanks for your infiinite wisdom though.

Hey... :DI always give a good deal! I have a great trading record! I try not to buy plastic anymore if I can help it... trading is the best way to find something you want, without paying an arm and a leg on ebay!

The plastic feels just like my nightshift orc... I don't think I'll ever throw the special blend, as I prefer the z buzzz or the element.

my special blend went straight into the bag!!

Mar 28 2005, 01:24 PM
so how does it fly compared to other rocs

Mar 28 2005, 01:42 PM
less overstable=straighter=longer=ontario roc
you are very stubborn.

Mar 28 2005, 02:03 PM
less overstable means it will flip easier with power, not that it will go farther. Im stubborn because you misinformed me on your first post in this topic and i am still waiting for an answer from someone else. I'm sorry that you don't know what you are talking about but could you please quit giving me crap in every thread that i post?

Mar 28 2005, 04:12 PM

Mar 28 2005, 04:20 PM
Here's an entire thread about it:

There is a better way to phrase it....less overstable = stable.

gsw...stop trolling

Mar 28 2005, 04:31 PM
That's funny, it seems that neither of you were"ripped off" now quit ********.

Mar 28 2005, 04:44 PM
I wasn't ********, just posting.

Mar 28 2005, 04:44 PM
you are easily the least pleasant person i've run into on this message board. you have yet to say anything positive, so is it that surprising that i rip on all your mad-at-the-world posts? no. you didn't want to read the 2005 ce roc thread, so i thought i'd do you a favor and summarize it. but that wasn't good enough. the special blend is exactly what i said it is, long and straight out of the box, unlike the other 05's that are overstable with less carry. how do i know? because i have 2 of them that i regularly throw. if you really want to know, why don't you get one and throw it yourself? until then, stop being such a whiner.

Mar 28 2005, 04:52 PM
I have one, yet to throw it...deciding btwn the Glow one i have and the spb

Mar 28 2005, 05:08 PM
they are 2 completely different discs, so you should have no trouble finding room for both of them in your lineup. unless you don't want to throw one of them, in which case i would recommend throwing the glo, since it will beat in and become a stable mid-range instead of an overstable one (whereas the SB will become understable in much less time).
