$100 was a good deal for someone. Who knows what these will be up to next year, 5 years, 10 years. Ill be holding onto my other 4 for a long time.

actually, he hasn't sold anything yet. he's made an offer to sell it for $100 (which by now he should realize will probably only get bites on ebay) and i made a counter-offer for $29. but i can't leave it hanging out there indefinitely, so tomorrow it goes down $1, and will do so until we come to a final agreement. it's the best offer he's gotten from anyone on this thread, so i don't see how that's "h8n", whatever that means. he seems to want to hang onto the ones he bought anyways, so i think he'll be rather pleased when it doesn't sell.

To a disc "Thrower" the disc is worth $30 shipped....
To a Disc "Collector" I could definately see over a $100 for it.

I collect discs and understand how rare some discs are to get and understand why they are so expensive.. Only reason to have a Clear Roc is for collectibility.. Since you could have the same Flight with a ***** Brown Disc of the same Mold.

Most discs will be thrown... many others will be collected.

He edited his message. Disc sold. End of story. You'll probably never buy a clear any-year Roc for $29 unless you are first in line and get it for $25 from ZoneDriven, so don't act like he was trying to rip you off.

i am a player, not a collector, so saying that he was trying to "rip me off" would imply that i was actually interested. i have 6 2005 rocs on my wall right now waiting to be added to the bag, so the last thing i need is a $100 roc that's gonna fly just the same as my tribal and flagstick. i was using sarcasm to make a point, but i see that it was lost in transit between here and california. next time i'll have to overnight it. :D
