Chris got REALLY lucky that the bowling alley we went to sucked. The lanes were so dry I could barely keep the ball on the right side of the headpin and i was bowling with a HOUSE BALL. He beat me 2 out of the 3 games we bowled. It was all a scam. Now that he beat me, he will want to bowl for money at USDGC and thats where i will take the big bucks off him...
Congrats on your showing also boobs. You for sure have some game......

So Justin, do you still plan on heading up to the Lumberjack Open in BattleCreek MI this weekend?? It's suppose to snow all week long. I'm buying a bowling ball Friday and I'm going to bring it up there ( just incase ) :D
KidGateway
Mar 10 2005, 12:14 PM
Im probably not going to head up there. There is a match play tournament here in St Louis this weekend, so ill probably just play that. What ball are you going to get? Like i said before get a low end ball that doesnt hook all that much.
What tourney are you going to after Battle Creek? I havent even got the chance to get out and play since last weekend and it sucks....

Justin won a little gdstour event in KC on Saturday by 4 over me and today broke the course record at Endicott shooting 45. We need to get the longer pin placements in there real soon as well as keep JB in the long for a while!!!

Heeren.. find some doubles tournament somewhere and ill be your partner. Ive been playing pretty good lately, like Dave said I set the course record at Endicott yesterday with one bogey and a few putts that possibly could have stayed in. I had 14 putts for birdie which is pretty much unheard of on that course. You should come down for our St Louis Open this year.

This might look cool right now, but this update is without Barry's finishes in Melbourne, and Augusta. So really he has got me by ALOT......
Im going to Waco and hopefully both California NT's. So Hopefully I can keep playing well and try to take the #1 spot back, but its going to be tough to take down Barry...

Not to take away from JB but if I'm seeing this correctly Nikko shoots a 61 the first round, 2nd is 10 strokes higher? Was this an unsanctioned tournament? That seems like it would potentially be rated 1100.
cgkdisc
Oct 27 2010, 12:55 PM
Each throw is only worth 6-7 rating points on courses with SSAs of 65 and higher. You have to shoot 15-17 below SSA to reach 1100 rating on those layouts.
james_mccaine
Oct 27 2010, 06:52 PM
Still, that score sticks out big time: 10 better than 2nd, 14 better than 3rd, almost 30 better than some mid-pack scores. Looks plausible that it is 15 strokes better than the SSA.
cgkdisc
Oct 27 2010, 06:58 PM
Except that Ozark course has an SSA between 70-72. At 72, it's down to 5 rating points per throw. Check out Will's 61 in R1 at USDGC rated 1059 on a 72.78 SSA course. http://www.pdga.com/tournament-results?TournID=9685&year=2010&include_ratings=1#Open

Nevermind. I am braindead. I was mixing and matching first round and totals. Thanks for the reality check.

Oct 28 2010, 09:16 AM
I didn't know if it was 18 or 24 holes, at 24 holes and shooting 14 better than 3rd place which I would think could possibly be around a 1000, it had potential to be 1100. Since it sounds as if it were an 18 hole course then it would be the equivalent of shooting what he did at usdgc. In either case when can we expect to see JB playing a little further up north?
