Hey, anyone have advice/experience with overstable putters that are also soft. I am looking for a softer version of an elite challenger, but am wondering if the soft challenger is as overstable.

You should try to get one of those Black soft Challengers with the supercolor stamps. They are really overstable.

SE Rhynos are overstable.
BlowFlys are soft and really overstable.

AviarX is very overstable as well.

AviarX (JK Aviar) is a strange beast. I find it far less overstable at putting speeds than an SE Rhyno, yet it is curiously overstable at approach/upshot speeds. Kind of backwards, but that's what I use for a putter and overstable approach.

The X soft Challenger is overstable. I would say it is similar to the Elite but not nearly as overstable as the Crystal or D plastic,

If ever, if ever a Wiz there was the Wizard is one because, because, because, because, because.......... because of the wonderful things it does! :D Approach, fairway driver; shoot you can even putt with them. I'm pretty silly about putters. I carry Wizards in two weights and two plastics and Challengers in soft UV and Cryztal.
Supersoft wizard. It won't be as soft as the other discs listed though.

I agree with Moolie pretty much. The Soft-Challenger is flatter [not domey] than the the standard EliteX, fairly overstable ... and soft ... but not floppy. Very nice disk if you like the softer grippier E plastic (I do). For a little more overstability the Crystal Challenger is the sheit. Both of these disks will take massive amounts of abuse, and not a ding in any of mine. And you can really throw them far if you need to.
Supersoft wizard. It won't be as soft as the other discs listed though.
While some supersofts are fairly stiff, if you bend em slowly a few times they get quite soft. My wife (insert random mumbling under breath) had one that you could easily fold in half. I also have some Wizards marked soft that are as stiff as firm ones. That is fine by me though because I like a stiff disc.

Soft Challenger -- it seems a little more overstable than an Aviar-x.
Either the new Softs or the Photon UV Softs (if you can stand using a disc that spends most of its time looking purplish pink. :))
Anyone tried the new Photon Glo Soft Challengers yet?

Thanks for the responses. I will try the soft challenger as I am simply looking for a stickier/less bouncy version of the elite challengers. I thought of the Rhyno, but it feels strange to me. I didn't know there was a soft wizard.
Anyone use the bulldog. I heard it is a stable puppy, but is it soft at all.
While I live and die by my wizards and think they are the premiere putter made, it is worth mentioning that the wizard is probably the straightest disc on the market. I remember someone referring to it as "freakishly straight" in a thread a while back. So if you insist on an overstable disc try the challengers, but if you want a good straight putter for upshots and drives you need to try the Wizard.

My soft Wizard is not really "soft". It's not anything like a "soft" Magnet, or "soft" Challenger. However, I love the Wizard, great putter. In fact, the more I look at Gateway, the more I like what they are doing. My Wizard just doesn't grab the chains like my soft Challenger, or Elite APX Swirl. You might want to check out an APX Swirl too ... It's a very nice disc.
aviar-x or photon glo soft challenger. aviar x is the more stable of the 2.

True dat, it is not a "deep dish" putter at all. BlowFly feels strange too because of the way the inside edge isn't sharp. (Very similar to the "break through technology" of the Quarter-k....in a really old disc! :) )
