Do you have small delicate hands like a surgeon, or big beefy hands like a longshoreman? Which of these golden oldies do you prefer to try and roll with and why?

I'm with Bob - the sidewinder just keeps going...but as to the poll, I'd go with the leopard.

For big air rolling the Stingray. For floaty approach anhyzers the Stingray. For low ceiling laser turnovers the Leopard. For high speed pure distance rollers the Sidewinder. For long, long floaty anhyzers the Sidewinder....... oops, sorry, I was getting further and further afield. For further afield shots the Valk. For the furthest afield shots the Orc............... :D

It's almost two completely different styles of rolling.

The Stingray has more tendency to stand up; you'll end up with less cut rollers. Once it stands, however, it will turn and circle quicker. Unless rolling uphill or with a strong tailwind, you almost need to deliver this disc into the air flat to achieve a good roller. It's also not a good headwind roller as it can stand and circle quickly.

The Leopard has less tendency to stand up. You will likely need to release with more anhyzer, if not release to begin with at the intended angle of rolling, or cut rollers can occur. The Leopard will roll farther on a straight line before circling, and is better for downhill rolling and into a headwind.

I like both for rolling, and carry both in the "roller pocket" of my bag. (End pouch of an Innova tour bag.)

I agree -- the Sidewinder is a better roller. I like Champion Stingrays (max weight) as a turnover disc for tight courses on throws where a driver like the Sidewinder is too long. I think the description of a Sidewinder as a "Stingray on steroids" is right on.
