It is the best roller disc on the market right now, in my opinion.

those in the 170's tend to be flippier than the high-150's and 160's, at least in the star stamps. i dont' know if the "sidewinder" stamps fly any differently, but that's my experience so far. they also tend to roll more consistently if they hit the ground early, during the high speed portion of the flight, rather than if thrown as a sky roller.

wild , thats sounds opposite of what i expected!! i expect sky rollers to go further and lighter discs to be less stable!!

I have 4 star stamped sidewinders in the 173-175 range and the 3 are 175 ... they are all pretty stable compared to the sidewinders I have thrown that were in the 160's. If the snow would just go away I would love to roll one but until then they are great for a tail wind.

The regualar stamped Sidewinders must be opposite. I had a 158 that was very flippy and a 170 that isn't that flippy, it flies pretty staight.

My 159 first-run SW isn't very flippy; it's more stable than my 154 CE Leopard, and about the same stability as my 150 Champion Orc.

DW as you can tell by the responses on this thread, and others ( ;)), there are variations in stability from weight to weight, color to color, run to run, etc. etc. etc... I have 1st run Sidewinders from 157 to 171 with relatively minor variations in stability throughout the weight ranges. I'm a light weight arm and have just fallen back on the basic principle of go light for less stability. Works for me. Just ordered four more less than 160g Sidewinders. Heavier ones regardless of run headed to CTP's.
