OK, this isn't really a PDGA announcement...

The Disc Golf Foundation very proudly announces that Ric Timmons will be its new (and first) Executive Director.

For the last 15 years, Ric has taught at Columbia University's Executive Education Programs. He also has a very successful consulting business that has taken him around the world. He lives in Vermont, where he is the State Coordinator for the PDGA and NEFA.

Ric has extensive experience working with charitable organizations and in grant writing, which will be one of his principal duties. He'll be raising money for the DGF's College Matching Baskets program and for other educational and course installation programs. Ric's brother Pad is a long-time player and promoter, and he's a member of the DGF Board of Directors.

The Board of the Disc Golf Foundation is thrilled to have Ric on our side, and we're all looking forward to having an impact on the growth of the sport.

The DGF is always looking for tax-deductible contributions. For more information, please visit us at www.discgolffoundation.net (http://www.discgolffoundation.net)

Hello Fellow Golfers,

Ric Timmons the new Director of the Disc Golf Foundation has already been hard at work and has a couple of grants close to being accepted. One of his first goals is to get mini courses put in elementary schools so they can teach it in their physical education classes and make students more aware of this great sport.
Stay tuned for more info regarding the Dics Golf Foundation
