Over the last few very serious years of playing disc golf, I was introduced to the Innova Ram, a overstable medium distance driver that is 100% predictable in all conditions.
I need your help!!
I want to hear you profess your love for this old skool disc and want some "great shot" stories involving the RAM!
Dave D has been cleared to make CFR Candy RAMs and that is my dream...help me make my dream a reality!
One of my ram stories from today's round:
A crushing hyzer drive over a daunting, twisted, wooded fairway went a little too deep...app. 80' past and 50' not hyzer enough. Being almost in the shoulder of the road, I knew the ram was the only disc guaranteed to work (I carry a C firebird and max flick for my hyzer shots as well).
I flicked the ram 150' up and probably 40' out...cutting its way through the wind and wood just to crash in for a parkjob 3.
Please share your stories with me!

Get a CFR Candy Viper. Over stable like a paper plate. It is your candy Ram. I keep one in my bag at all times. :)
Just get a CE Demon. Problem solved. (or created?)
i broke out a brand new dx ram a few years back and the very first day my brother put it into the side of bridge. it was very trashed&gashed. :( rams rule though, CE ram would be awesome.
I bought a 1st run star stamp Ram many years ago. It was my favorite disc for a long time and I didn't even know what it was for the longest time. I liked it mainly because of the wide rim but now that there are many other wide rim discs I don't have any use for it. It was the ultimate hyzer upshot disc at the time. Now I prefer straighter upshots as they have a greater chance of going in.

rhett is right about those "candyhead" vipers.

rhett is right about those "candyhead" vipers.
And they feel more like a Ram in your hand than anything that is not a Ram.

I;ve tried a champ whippet x and haven't beaten it in yet...anyone with ram experience notice simularities between the two once the whipx is worn in?

Have you tried a Z-Xtreme? I switched from Ram's to X-Xtreme's before the Z stuff was out. I love the Z's now...they last forever!

Have you tried a CFR Viper?
Nope. I held a CFR Viper at a tourney disc-mart once... :D...and I'll likely get a 'Candy' Ram for the flock of it!
Long ago >>> I've thrown DX Vipers, Millenium Tachyons, DX Rams, DX & KC Whippets...all definitely overstable. They just don't have the beefy Demon rim.

The CFR Viper is the most overstable driver I have ever thrown.

Dave D from Innova stated that they might run some DX rams over the winter. How many of you ram huckers would like to see that?
As well, would you like to see an updated hot stamp on the disc or stick with the old reliable star stamp?

I call my 165 RAM "the Pitching Wedge" and use if for all my spike hysell :Dshots. I would be interested in a few 160g-170g DX RAM...the stamp has absolutely nothing to do with how the disc flies...so any stamp will do.

... concrete statement ... there is nothing like a Ram ... sure CFR vipes , w-x's , extremes , speedo-demons , etc. share SOME of the attributes of a Ram ... but , none of the imitators can fly exactly like a Ram ... good ol' 179-180g DX (into a tornado, if you want) ... and nothing skips up -n- over like a Ram ... talk about your "second flight" off the ground ! ... wow ...

Orange Max weight

ce demon? Isn't champion plastic Innova? Also, I do not believe the demon is made in this type of plastic due to weight restrictions.
Never heard of a RAM; I'd be willing to try it in champion plastic.

I can assure that the CFR Viper will indeed do the "Ram, skip, and roll." :)
