With the NT events starting up in about 3 weeks, it is time to get back in the swing of things and start playing Fantasy Disc Golf again.

This year is a bit different:
The website has moved! I am now located at http://www.fantasydg.com
Points are done differently. There is a more weighted point system.
I have added a "Pay to Play" league with prizes to go along with the "Free for Fun" league. The cost to play is $5 and you have the chance to win a Ching Skill Shot, and maybe more. More details can be found after logging in!

If you signed up last year, I have imported all of your old information into the new website. There is no need to re-signup, just log in with your info from last year.

As always, I am looking for sponsors for prizes to give away. If you would like to help sponsor, please do not hesitate to email me. I am sure we can work something out.

If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please EMAIL me and I will attempt to respond in a timely manner.

Well, we are within days of the National Tour events starting. This is a reminder that you can sign up for Fantasy Disc Golf at http://www.fantasydg.com. Join the hundreds of other players that have already signed up to play.

Special thanks to a few people/sponsors. First is Terry Miller (Lifetime Disc Sports (http://www.lifetimediscsports.com) ) for getting me a good deal on the Ching Skill Shot that will be our first place prize for the paid league. Second is Eric Edgerton for donating another Lakewood Open Disc this year (given out to the best overall score, regardless of league). Third is the PDGA for supplying me with the information on all the players.

Remember, if you would like to join in for the chance to win big prizes, you can sign in to your account and just click on the link under the "NEWS" section for information on the "Pay to Play" league. It is a ONE-TIME entry fee of $5 and you have the chance to win a few different prizes. It is never too late to sign up, I will give you credit for the previous event, at the time you sign up. April 7th is the cutoff date for counting your first week scores. Currently the prizes are:

1st Place: Ching Skill Shot ($140 dollar value)
2nd Place: "Touring Pro" Lightning bag. ($40 value)
Still working on other prizes... stay tuned.

FYI: If you sign up in the "Pay to Play", make sure that when you make your picks it says "These are picks for the league: Paid League" at the top of your screen. Not for the public league by accident.

I have 2 announcements to make. First, I would like to announce that I have picked up another sponsor for the Fantasy Disc Golf (http://www.fantasydg.com) site. I would like to thank the MSDGC for throwing in 10 of their fantastic 2004 MSDGC DVD's in to the prize pot, in return I will be adding the MSDGC as an event stop for Fantasy Disc Golf.

The second announcement is in regard to the first place prize awarded to those that choose to sign up for the $5 paid league. Originally the first place prize was offered as a Ching Skill Shot. But instead, I am going to give the OPTION of accepting either the Ching Skill Shot or the "2005 CE USDGC ROC" set (Tribal, Flagstick, & Special Blend. Glow not included)

You can sign up to play at: Fantasy Disc Golf (http://www.fantasydg.com)

Did John McCray sign up for the tournament on Saturday morning? He wasn't listed on the pre-registration list on the tournament website. It sure would have been nice knowing that McCray was playing - he certainly would have been one of my fantasy picks.

Only 2 people picked Justin to win. PaulHanger & Timmy Gill.

It is unfortunate that the pre-reg lists are not always up-to-date. But as anyone who has ran a tournament, or helped out running an event knows, it isn't a top priority to get the online pre-reg list up to date. They have way too many things to deal with as it is.

Yeah Lung, you are still winning by 4 points. Heck, you have me by 8 points right now. But, I am gonna make a run at catching up though. Keep up the good picking.

Maybe JLVD can get the PDGA to give updates on players on Thursdays like the NFL does injury lists for Vegas....errr...for the "public." :)

Insiders tip for the crosstown next weekend.

Make sure Walt Haney is in your picks, and probably you pick to win.

The last 4 years he has finished 4 1 1 2

I haven't talked with Johnny lately so I don't know. Looks like there might not be one.
