:confused: Hello people. If anyone has any insight on the new pro-play-am thing WITH RESPECT TO doubles events, please share your thoughts here.

I will be co-TD'ing a sanctioned doubles event in April. I already have heard of one low-rated PRO player will take this opportunity to play with an AM. How would I award prizes to this team if they win? Should the AM partner not receive any prizes besides a trophy? Should there be a rule that says if you are an AM playing with a PPA in a team event, that you forfeit any merchandise won? Should half the merch be awarded? What do you think?

Pros playing am win prizes, not cash. Ams playing am win prizes too.

All that changes here is that before that team would not have played your tournament. So the Pros Play Am rule adds a team to your tournament.
