in advance i apologize for starting a new post that may have been answered but im guessing it can be quickly answered and then dissapear into the archives but... when the release date is announced (and arrives) how do i order one before they are sold out? I'd like to get the champion plastic and I'm aware there will be a bunch more made than in previous years. I'm guessing there is no "pre-order" but is there a phone number i can call and get it taken care of or what is the deal? thank you for your reply again sorry about the posssible repetitiveness about this post (i've obviously never been caught up in the roc hype as i am now) :D

your best bet will be to go to the ZoneDriven Pro Shop. It will list everything that is AVAILABLE. phone orders will also go through the website, but it will take one of the customer service associates doing it while you dictate your info over the phone. There is no guarantee that you will get the exact color and weight that you want, but I think these will not sell out as quickly as in previous years, simply because there are about 6000 available. If you want a "regular" Champion Roc, there are about 2000 of those (if you count X Outs. If you want Glow, there are about 1900. One color, one stamp, 178-180. If you want the "Special Blend" there are about 2000 of those. Haven't seen them, but they should only be one color, one stamp, not sure of weight, but probably all heavy. Quantities available will be based on what is available and the most accurate way to be sure you get what you want is to order on the website. If a desired weight and color is not listed, it is probably gone or not available. I hope this helps.

Buy a Z-Wasp that is about 5 grams lighter then you normally throw. Viola! A great/cheaper/readily available replacement for the Champion Roc.
Although it is for a good cause. I just don't like to have to be online in the middle of the night to try and get a disc that will inevitably be the wrong weight. Personally I would rather just send the USDGC a $25 check for a donation. Also since I heard they retooled the line to make them less stable, I have now become less interested in getting one. Rocs are flippy enough for me, I do not need one that is less stable.
Good luck though!

The retooled run are the Special blend version, approximately 1/3 of the available discs. 1/3 are the regluar plastic, which is most neutral, and 1/3 are the Glow Rocs, which most seem to think are most overstable of the current run.
So you've got choices! And unlike Woot! (http://www.woot.com) we won't introduce the Rocs at 10PM PST 1AM EST.

I suggested a flight test when they all come in. Will see if we get that done.
Should have the glow stamp for you by Friday.
