I find DX Beasts to be more overstable then Champion Beasts, Champion Orcs and alot more then Pro Orcs.
I was wondering how the Pro Beasts compare and if I should even bother trying one. Currently I am using Champion Orcs for max distance but would like something a little more flippy but not as much as the Pro Orcs but with the glide and grip of the Pro. All are in the 167-170g weight range. I can throw around 375-400' straight line distance and about 450' (total distance) if it turns and burns hahaha....
Thanks,
Matt
P.S. Please only talk about Beasts and Orcs in the different plastics!!!!

I throw the first run pearl white Pro Beasts They are more stable than the current Champion Beasts. I throw heavy 174. I love these Pro Beasts but alas they are getting expensive..

Your DX Beast is more OVERstable than all of the others you mentioned??? What did you do to it?!? I've thrown two or three DX beasts, and they are great for a tailwind, but not much else for me. I would like to try a proline one though...
The beast was great for me for about 6 months, and then I added the Starfire and Orc to my arsenal. I've also added some more overstable discs like Firebirds and (believe it or not) a Champ Archangel. The Beast is less stable for me now as all of the others, but i love the 162-gram champ one I've got for a tailwind!

Yeah I was very surprised when I got it, I got the DX Beast for Open Distance shots thinking it would flip and glide alittle farther then my Champion Orc, but it flew very similar with more fade at the end, I guess I have to beat it up a little...
I do like the feel of the Pros, but the Orcs I had were way too flippy and not durable at all. And I can't tell the difference between the 2 Runs.
So any news on the Pro Beast....

I tried 172 white pro beast from my friend. I threw and it went real real faR!!! in the water .. oops but I picked it up. :D

I found that the DX Beast is noticeably more overstable than the Champion Beast, but I'm probably the only disc golfer yet who hasn't tried the Champion Orc. My DX is beating in nicely, though. I'm also interested to hear how the Pro Beast acts compared to the Champ and DX.

i agree dx beast is more stable tan champ beast and pro orc. my NEW dx beasts are like champ orcs with more glide and less fade. i was also wondering about the new pro beasts. i'm guessing understable, like the pro orcs....

The new Pro Beasts are more stable than the Champion and DX. I throw the old "Pro Line" Beasts since they are more stable than DX & Champion but they are getting too expensive. The new Pro Beast is a perfect replacement for the old PL. To me it is more stable than a Champion Orc. I can't compare it to a 2nd run Pro Orc since I have only thrown the (understable) 1st runs. I prefer to throw them in heavier weights though. They always feel 2 grams lighter than they are marked.

Thanks Guys,
I think I will try one, now that I know that they aren't flippy like the Pro Orcs.
Cheers,
Matt
