Hello everyone.
A bunch of friends and I are getting some mid winter Disc Golf fever! Does anyone know of any indoor courses in North Eastern Illinois? One of my buddies could have sworn he heard of one near. I searched online, but couldnt find anything. If anyone knows of an indoor course please clue me in. I'd be very greatful. Thanks very much in advance.

I've never even heard of an indoor course anywhere. My best suggestion would be to find an indoor driving range and see if they'd let you in sometime. Other than that, bundle up and go play a round with an Ultimate disc! It's fun for a change and you won't lose it in a foot of snow.

Don't know how much you'd travel, but there is one in Milwaukee that the guys gather at on Tuesday nights for beer and disc chucking. It is a sports complex off 60th and Ryan Road. There is also a county park there that is in teh works for being a 5-Star Pay to Play tournament course. Terry Miller is working on this.

Hey you Illinois folks...is David Keel still around in the Chicago area? He was a phenomenon here in Lawrence, KS back in the late 90's...smoother than silk with a cannon of an arm. He and a Topeka DG'er (Mark Hedstrom) won Am Worlds Doubles in '99... Drives lefty, putts righty. He used to flip his disc before ALL shots...
Anyone know?

Hey Doc, the drive up to Milwaukee Sports Complex on alternating Tuesdays is well worth it. It only took me 45 minutes from Waukegan, during early rush hour.

As far as I know, there's nothing else indoors for disc golf. There is a huge indoor ball golf practice range off of Hwy. 41 in Highland Park, but getting dg in there would be a challenge....

I believe Keel has been around; the DISContinuum guys might know better. Check out the message board at http://discontinuum.org/forums/

I have seen David a few times in the past few years. I do not personally know him. I believe he lives somewhere near Streamwood or Lombard but i'm not 100% on that. Here is his PDGA info http://www.pdga.com/tournament/playerstats.php?PDGANum=13848&year=2004

Don't come to Colorado, weather sucks and the people are a-holes. If you do go, leave as soon as possible. ;)

Why do you say that about CO? I think it's a cool place with some good disc golf. Of course i never lived there B 4.
