Hey All,
I'm looking to find out any information about the course's in Vegas. I'm going to be travelin' out there in the end of March.
Going to do the typical Vegas thing, You know, Gamble, Drink, Discgolf, Get Married, Honeymoon !
(Not in that order though )
Interested in chatting with some locals or anyone who has played the Las Vegas course's.
We've both been playing for about 3 years now and just love the game. (She till's me that I'm addicted to it.) It's just a very fun sport. Plus the outdoors ! It doesn't get any better.
It'll be are first time to Vegas so any tips on the course's and or the Town itself. Please feel free to respond.

Sunset Park was a good one and you can use the bus to get there.

Locate south east corner of airport and the local bus got me there in an hour from the north end of the strip with a transfer.

Sunset is the best here, 21 holes. Easy to get to from the strip. Take Strip all the way South to Sunset, go East to Eastern, and you're there.

Mt. Crest is fun 18 hole, located NW part of town.

Piccolle Ranch is hard to follow, need a local. 18 holes.

Freedom is in the Downtown area. Must have a local, not marked well. 18 holes.

Anthem, don't bother. 9 holes.

My son and I drove into town in July and had one day to play the Vegas courses. Our observations:

Our favorite was Mt. Crest - a beautiful park design, nice 18-hole layout, lots of fun.

Sunset was a good play. It is very close to the strip, so for most Vegas tourists, it is a no-brainer. Tough on the morning we played because the sprinklers were running.

Freedom was a waste of time. There is no course map on site, many tee signs are missing. We gave up after 6 holes, and we were dedicated to playing ANYTHING.

Piccole Ranch was fun, because it is such a unique idea. A Master-planned community that took the drainage swale around the neighborhood and turned it into a wooded linear park with a DG course. The markings are not that great, but all of the tee signs were there, there are just some ong walks between holes. We were able to find our way around with only a few problems. It's worth a play because of the novelty.

Didn't know about anthem - would have played it if we knew. We were on the road for 4 days in July and played 20 courses between Phoenix, Flagstaff, Vegas and SoCal. Lots of DG and Gatorade...
