This is a must play course. It was great last year and I can only imagine that Tim and his crew has made it better.
Make sure that you bring your coolers with lots of goodies in them, 'cause the closest store, isn't close.
Any info on where to send the entry fees???
Walt
Registration can be sent to: S.W.F. c/o Tim Hogg

The official flyer can be viewed at www.scdgo.net (http://www.scdgo.net)
Also the Course setup has been altered!!!!!
Course Setup
The Ganus Cup Championship will utilize two 12-hole courses, East and West. Everyone will play two rounds on each course for a total of 48 holes plus the top four qualifiers in the Pro Open and Advanced Am divisions will play our tradional "Fantastic Four Finale" round.
The course still has its traditional set of 4 different tee pads and the always popular "footage markers" running the length of each hole which makes distance judging easy.
Prizes will consist of Cash for the pros, High quality Innova Merchandise and Real trophies for each amateur winner.
If anyone has had the pleasure of enjoying our past tournament please pass the word around about our upcoming tournament Feb. 26-27.
The Course is privately owned on a beautiful piece of property with a mixture of rolling hills, over the water shots, wooded holes, and open holes. The course is still playing very long with many par 4 and par 5 holes, and don't forget to bring your accuracy game because Out of Bounds can and will bite you. So if your looking for one of the best run tournaments in the South and one of the most beautiful tournament courses don't miss this tournament.
Still Waters Resort also has showers and bathrooms on hand for all campers.

I am proud of Eddie's success recently. Some people's response to someone being successfull is call them a bagger rather than congradulate them.
And the reason I'm so excited is this course rocks!

This is Shade with a brief update about the Ganus Cup. The course is shaping up nicely. Joey and I are very excited about hosting our first "B" tier event. The weather looks good for Saturday's action...A late addition to the prize money for the Pros. Adam and Christy Thomas have donated $100 cash to be awarded to the Pro with the lowest round in the "Fantastic Four Finale". The Mayor (Johnnie Ganus) is looking forward to having lots of wackey disc golfers this weekend. We still have openings so if you want to play the "Tournament Players Course", come on down. For more information, you can reach me at (803)300-4762 or (803)368-8171. See you this weekend!!!

Thanks to Shade, the Ganus family and anyone else who made this weekend happen
That is one the best courses in the southeast and one of the best ran tournaments as well. Only 39 people there is pathetic. Everyone who missed this tournament missed an awesome time. All the hard work on that amazing course and only 39 shows up.......I'm getting off that...
Thanks to Walt for hookin up the cabin and Schweb for driving!

Ed. I think. He didn't play the last round and he didn't ride a cow. I'm glad I decided to turn around and head to Govan instead of work on Friday. This place was beautiful and not courses you want to play blind which I did. One of the best golf environments, everyone who wasn't there missed out. Nice first round Bergey.
BS15335
Yea, we may not have had TV in the cabins but we did have Ed Williams who more than made up for it in entertainment.
Ed tried (while tipsy) to give LL a swirly and that is the wrong thing to do. Larry kicked Ed's arse and rolled him up in a ball about four times. That was the funniest thing I have seen in a long time. I missed the cow riding attempt, i'm sure it was equal.
This tourney was a unique experience. The property has the potential to be the best course east of the Mississippi. Absolutely stunning! The hard work was evident in every aspect. Thanks to all who were involved and particularly the Mayor of Bamberg County, who owns the property, Mr. Ganus.
Congrats to my boy Schweb. You crushed the field without throwing many thumbers. I'm sure throwing a Firebird 400' into a stout headwind and putting well helped a little.
Thanks Snoop for all that you did.

Word to the Messiah.
I'd like to thank all those brave souls that competed at the 1St Annual Ganus Cup Disc Golf Championship in Govan this past weekend. Joey and I were awed by the amazing capabilties of "World Class" disc golfers that attended. Congratulations to Schweb, MTL, John McDaniel(of Innova fame), and Missy Hutto for fine performances in tough playing conditions. A special thanks to LL, Brian McRee, and Walter Haney for sharing their time and priceless expertise. We have already started working toward making some of the modifications discussed. I'd :) like to encourage all who attended to submit any thoughts they have that may help us to improve any aspect of the tournament experience. We look forward to seeing you all again in August. Thanks again! Shade Hogg
