What is the difference between all of the different Rocs? I know this is really vague and possibly has a very long answer to it...
Thanks for any help you guys can give me!

Three Rancho mold variants (two of which are similar enough to be considered more-or-less identical): blunt and non-blunt (sharper) nose. Blunt generally fly straighter with less low speed fade, sharper generally more overstable. DX Rancho, 11x, 04 CE, original and current Super are non-blunt; 8x, 10x, and '03 CEs are blunt.

Nine other possible variants, including Ontarios, not currently in use.

How do the Rancho Rocs get a Flat top? I have one, and it is really really stable, like a Flat Buzzz. I know the Flat Buzzz is an anomoly in the cooling process, but what about the flat Roc? Was this a particular run or just an errant cooling.

Either way, where can I find more flat Rocs?

Any Ching-stamped ones are; they're my favorite.

I've also found that almost all tournament stamped Rocs are flatter and more overstable. I love 'em.

Aren't some 10x KC Pro Rocs not blunt? I though only 1st run 10x were blunt and the later runs were like 11x...

What are the most overstable rocs?
(I'd appreciate it if someone who knew quite a bit about Rocs could list some common Rocs in order of stability) Once again, thanks in advance for any help you guys can give me on this matter :D

I cant find any 10x/18x thread or a 10x/8x thread, only an how many rocs and old roc thread and these don't really tell about the difference in flight characteristics of the different molds/variations/retools...

That link (http://www.pdga.com/msgboard/showflat.php?Board=Equipment&Number=183197&Searchp age=0&Main=42323&Search=true&#Post183197) takes me to a page with people asking about Pro Orcs...

I looked a few pages back and found that Dave said "I believe you can see the difference comparing 10x and 9x KC Rocs. Or, comparing regular Rancho, to a 10x. I believe the 10x is the blunt nose."
But still, I have 2 10x KC Pro Rocs, one looks like a lot like my 8x and one looks exactly like my proto se super roc or 11x. Maybe I'm wrong though, its sorta hard to tell... anyways... which brings me to another question..
So regular ranchos are sharper nosed and so are 9x and 11x?
And 8x and 10x are the same (blunt)?
This all confuses me, I wish there was a list of all of the different Rocs and the plastic and the mold and the different variations, this would be much appreciated... :D

fore,
I looked into it further and on page 254 and a couple others before of the Questions for Dave D, a couple people ask Dave how to tell the difference between the two runs of 10x KC Pro Rocs... He tell them that one has a sharper nose and the other has a blunt nose and that most of the newer Rocs have the sharper nose as well. :D
then a few pages before those posts, when questioned about the 10x KC Pro Roc, Dave replies:
"discchucker, there were two different runs out of two different molds. The second run was the more over stable type" (i.e. sharper) :D
