So I noticed that MY Champ Valk has VL on the bottom but when I was looking at another one today, I noticed it had VK on the bottom (and it was a Champ Valk too, NOT a CE). Are there VL's and VK's sorta like the TL's and T's of the Tbird? Any help is appreciated.

There is no mold/model difference between the VK and VL. The marking was changed from VK to VL to avoid confusion with the Viking (VG).
Sorry for the thread drift, but I thought it fit.
There has been much confusion about the TL (the rare one you can only get at tournaments as FUNDRAISER discs, hence the real name CFR TL. I emailed innova and got a responce back from Dave.
The Teebird "T" and the CFR TL "TL" are not the same disc, a cousin of the teebird, fairly similar but less stable with more fade. The new Pro Line Teebird-L, has been confused by many of having a Teebird top and Leopard Bottom. Dave says this is unture, and that they have never switched tops and bottoms on discs. The Pro Line Teebird-L is a Teebird that is more Leopard Like.
Teebird
CFR TL
Teebird-L
Three completely different discs, that are all related.

i beg to differ on two points:
1- the tl has LESS fade than a teebird in the same plastic.
2- i believe there are 2 molds, not 3. the "t" which comes in dx and champ plastic, and the "tl" which comes in pro and champ [cfr].
Isn't there another thread about this?
Anyways to continue the thread drift...
I'd agree with you that CE TL's and CFR TL's have LESS low speed fade than a normal CE, CFR, or Champion T lip Teebird.
I'd disagree with you that there only 2 molds and agree with parkandtwoputt that there are 3 molds. The T lip regular old teebird mold, the CE and CFR Teebird TL mold, and then third, the Pro Line Teebird-L mold. I could be wrong though on this one...
I guess this really isn't a thread drift because the whole VL VK thing has been solved already... :D

Unless Dave specifically states in that e-mail that the proline Teebird-L mold is different than the CR TL mold, I would bet you've misread his reply. If that's the case, there are only two molds: regular and TL.
The "TL is a Teebird top/Leopard bottom" canard has been around at least since the Special Edition TLs came out (1999?). That claim/belief exists completely independent of whether or not the CFR TL and Proline Teebird-L molde are identical.
The stability difference between CFR and Proline TLs is due to the difference in plastic. A similar difference in stability is evident between Champion and Proline Orcs, Champ and Proline Rhynos, Champ and Proline Teebirds.
