I am moving to Eglin Air Force Base in April, are there any courses near the base. Eglin is in nortwest Florida near Fort Walton Beach, about an hour east of Pensacola.

There is a course in Brooksville, Fl which many people consider one of the best disc golf experiences anyone can have. Its a bit south from where you are but if you get the oppertunity check it for sure. Its called the Gran Canyon DGC. Bring water, hiking shoes or boots and about 5 hours of playing time.

There is a course in Gulf Breeze near Pensacola. My uncle just played it over the weekend. He said it looked like it WAS a nice course but has some tree and vegitation damage from one or two of the hurricanes last year. There's another course west of Pensacola on an air force or navy base. You can look them up in the course directory.

They are pretty sweet courses I've heard. Pensacola is home of the Blue Angels so you might get a fly-by while playing. The one near the AFB was a stop for Southern Nationals.
