Dog Owner alert.

If you take your dog to any austin disc golf course, watch them when they are off a leash. I've been informed that Austin animal control is beginning to patrol disc golf courses specifically targeting disc golfers. Two golfers that I know of have already been popped with leash law violations, one at searight and one at pease, which happened during the mini tonight. FYI

Not sure. Jerry might have a better idea of how long.

Also, I forgot to mention that there may be a round of golf afterward, possible even a mini, once the work is finished (if there is enough interest).

Tom...YOU COOL?

Does a bear chit in the woods?

Does a Tasker wish he could play more disc golf?

Does Lou know way to much about taxes?

Does Bobby Knight lose to Rick Barnes?

......... etc.

I was only able to stay for a couple of hours before heading to Houston for the big Tayloe Roast (the "He Ain't Quite Dead Yet Roast"), but there was a lot done. Crushed granite on a number of the tee boxes, and mulch on some basket positions, plus mulch on the entire #2 fairway. About 40 people or so turned out to help and there was a good city presence helping too.

It was a very successful workday! Jerry Vela did an excellent job organizing things and getting drinks and food for the volunteers.
