big problem!!
2005 Ice Bowl TD's ought consider various relief funds to help tsunami disaster rebuilding efforts.
I like the idea..thnx for bringing this up md21954.
All to often we forget about those in need when disaster happens. Yes we have a need right in our own communities, We don't have to give all the funds to the Tsunami relief, maybe just add them to our list of charities.
If the USA has a disaster, I know other countries reach out to us, if not in the form of monetary help, at least they do in many other ways. I'm all for donating a portion of our proceeds to Tsunami. :) What about it TD's??? Also, your donation doesn't have to be just monetary. They are accepting clothing and things such as tents, blankets, etc... How about contacting the local Red Cross and ask them if we ask people to bring clothing and these other items donated during the Ice Bowls would they get them delivered to the appropriate facilities after the tourney...
Just my 10 :)

Actually they are insisting that the donations strictly be monetary. The cost for shipping items across seas is too high and ends up costing alot more in the long run. They also want the to spend the money in the affected countries to help boost the economies after the disaster.
Big article about it in the paper today.

Maybe there is a way to do both. Maybe TD's of Ice Bowls can donate a portion to Tsunami relief and a portion to the local charity that they have already designated.
