Does anyone know the status of Sunset Park? While on vacation in the Pensacola area, we played this course today. All in all it seems like a fun course, but hole #7's basket seemed to be missing completely, while 8's fairway was obstructed by a dump truck. Hole 9 was ok (almost aced it :D) but then hole 10 seemed to play into a giant pile of brush, holes 11 and 12 had baskets but the teepads seemed to be lost in that same pile of brush. We weren't sure of this because that pile was obviously not permanent, but it did seem to be on a softball field. Were the pile not in place, it looked as though we would have been throwing to a basket in left field.

Anyway, were are just visiting family here, but we would like to return and play this nice course... if it is still going to be here. Someone please fill me in :)

baldguy, sunset park is being used to burn all the downed limbs/trash from hurricane Ivan. some of the baskets there were destroyed by all the heavy equipment going through the course. not sure when it will be back to pre-hurricane status.
