She's a trooper. She has to stick to apple sauce and crust-less pumpkin pie for a few days. And ice cream. :)

Believe me that is the best way to go. It's especially better getting them out at your age. It's harder when you get older. I was 19 when mine got pulled and it was bad enough. Hang in there, you will feel better with each passing day.

i'm 17 and i still don't have mine out. something to really look forward to in the coming years.

had mine pulled by uncle sam (happy happy joy joy) take care of your teeth megan, i didn't now i have fake ones.
funny thing is now that i have false teeth i brush them everyday

Im still getting them pulled. I have HORROR stories from waiting to get it done.Youll be fine in three days. Probaly got some Vikes anyway.

today i fell good but when i open my mouth it is sore. i have stitches in my mouth and it is hard to eat but i manage.

Uncle Sam pulled mine. The two on one side one week, the two on the other the next. Lots of fun.

today i have to drink salt water and then spit it out talk about grose. i have to put an hot pack on my face to keep the swelling down.

Megan, I hope you meant an "ice"-pak...as heat will 'contribute' to swelling/throbbing!

Ice packs for the first two days. Alternate heat and ice the next couple of days. Ice at first to stop the swelling. After the initial swelling has been knocked down, I think the heat stimulates blood flow and healing.

In any event, we do what the doctor says. :)

My girlfriend at the time took a picture of me they day after all 4 of mine were removed. It wasn't funny then, but it sure is now. After everything healed, I had a hole back there were I could put a tic tac. That was sorta a bonus.

It doesn't hurt. The only bad part is getting a shot in the upper pallate.
