I was just wondering with how much power people think a roc will start turning over. I throw my rocs around 250-300 and i don't notice it turning over at all. Is the general consensus that it'll start turning over in flight when you can throw the roc around 350ft? or can people throw it much farther without it being flippy?
It all depends on your technique. I've seen people throw 350' hysers and 200' turnover lawn darts. You just have to figure out the perfect ratio of power to spin. Then you can throw it however you like. It's all about control.
i know of a few people who can hyzer rocs to arund 450, its totally insane. :Dnow for my most stable roc (180 GLO) i can get to about 320 before it turns over.

Definitely a lot in technique. Rocs will show if you are throwing with flutter or off-axis torque. I can get a roc out close to 350 but not if i don't release it clean. Throwing rocs can show you flaws that are masked by the speed and overstability of most drivers. When my game goes in the toilet I take my Rocs to the soccer field and just throw without a runup from midfield into the net. Just gets me back to basics.
A brand new flat top max weight roc probably wouldn't flip if thrown 500, but very few people are going to have the technique and the power to do that.
