Hey if you have an X-out that is just a cosmetic defect (I have some white X-out Super rocs w/ black pigment in them) is it PDGA legal??? Thanks anyone who answers :D
Yes, X-outs are PDGA legal since they only have cosmetic flaws.

Yeah... its winter... disc golf nuts don't play QUITE as much when its so friggon cold (Exempt those spoiled So Cal people) so we have to sit here and talk about the greatest game ever.

That requires effort and you don't get to shoot the breeze with other golfers... making friends is the only way to go.

Ohhh I thought it would have been in equipment (I searched but came up empty handed)... never crossed my mind to look in "rules" next time maybe :D

X-outs often have much more than cosmetic flaws. My local store recently got some X-out QJLS's and QMS's, and they were pretty messed up with dents and dimples where the plastic collapsed in the mold.
Question about X-outs
I throw primarily discraft, so I'm a bit biased, but can't live without certain innovas (ROC) Anyhow, I was wondering why people buy these, which seem to cost more money, yet they are screwed up? At least with discraft you only get cosmetic flaws, and they are a lot cheaper.

Cost more? I've never seen X-outs that are more expensive than the regular discs of the same mold/plastic. People usually buy them because they flaws do not effect the flight and they are cheaper.
i orderd some x-out glo candy TLs for 15 bucks each as opposed to 25 or 30 for a regular CFR glo tl. i'll have to wait and see how they look though.

Whoa there....Our store regularly purchases Discraft misprint orders, and a good percentage of these discs are severely jacked as well. Dimples, inner rims that are caved in, dented flight plates, and even a disc with asphalt scrapes all around the edge all came in our misprint orders (especially Z orders).
I line up all my best drivers including two SE Innova X-out Valkyries and throw all of them. The two SE's always go 20'-30' farther then the rest.
20' may not be such a big deal to the big arms but when I lost my first SE, my game went to the dogs until I found a good supplier.
I'm farily new to the sport and I've been trying out discs based on price so many of my discs are x-outs. I haven't had any so far with anything more than cosmetic flaws and they've all been less expensive than their non x-out counterparts. Heck, I only payed $7 total for both of the 179g DX Rocs I have and there are a bunch of people out there who condider that to be the best disc ever made.
