Only $44.95 for shipping. How do they make any money?
For that shipping price they could be using the pony express. Or maybe even the donkey express (which would be cool).

IIRC Ebay charges based on the selling price not including S/H. Selling it this way saves a little $ for the seller. I have seen the Instep target in many differnet ratios of price to S/H (any where from this where it is 50/50 to all price, no S/H). I managed to get mine on Ebay last summer for $60+$20 S/H.
do you like it? i have only seen them on ebay.

Portability:
The base and top fit in the basket so I am able to carry that with one hand and the two pieces for post in the other. Not too bad on the weight. It fits in the trunk of my Prizm (which is where it travels most of the summer so that I can set it up at McDowell Grove
forest preserve just a couple of blocks from my office for practice)
Setup/Takedown:
Easy. Three pins with clips to keep them from popping out. No tools.
Stability:
I haven't seen it fall over yet, even with me sometimes setting it up on sloped ground. My daughter (< 1 year) could pull herself up by the basket without it toppling over either.
Durability:
It has held up great (I do not leave it outside though).
Catchability:
One set of chains, but I don't get many cut throughs. (I do not have a "hard" putt) One could add more chains. The top has the same radius as the basket. This will cause some less than perfect shots that would stick on others baskets to fall out. But for practicing putting in my backyard it works just fine (and probably gives my putting a little more challenge)
As for the three discs that come with it...even my daughter preferred Innova. :D
As probably the cheapest basket out there, it does well enough.
Overall, I give it a thumbs up.
I agree with Krupicka, I like the basket. It may not be the world's best basket. However, its a basket and it catches discs and that's all I need. I get some cut throughs on mine but I am looking to hang a second set of chains. The only problem I have is the upper radius being the size of the basket. A few hits that are normally money in the upper chains fall out which is disheartening. About the "discs" that came with them... great if you get some hoosier who wants to putt at your basket at a bbq or something... or great chew toys for dogs... other than that, one putt into the chains and the putter is dinged.

Will Ferrell: And, Bobby, you are right - I am being selfish. But the last time I checked, we don't have a whole lot of songs that feature the cowbell.
Christopher Walken: I gotta have more cowbell, baby!
Will Ferrell: ..and I'll be doing myself a disservice -- [begins to slightly laugh. Jimmy Fallon turns away and bites down on his drumstick to keep from laughing] -- and every member in this band, if I don't perform the hell out of this.

I picked up an instep for $70 and spent another $20 to make it the similar to a Mach3
Go to Home Depot & get 7 lengths of chain cut for you (I believe it was 24 links, but measure on your basket for sure). Grab a box of 30 1+1/2" "S" hooks while you're there. You'll be using a large portion of them.
Head down to Michaels (or maybe Hobby Lobby - any local hobby/craft store) and get some metal rings. 3" and 7". They come in packs of 6 and 3 respectively, so you'll have some left over too. (Maybe sell em to another modder ). We've got some left over if someone wants 'em!
The bottom of the chains on the basket is attached with 7 large S hooks. These are big enough to use on the top to attach your chains. Pry these apart (two opposing hammers works well) and take the bottom loop apart. Now use those S hooks to attach your 7 lengths to the top inner ring of the basket so theyre hanging straight down. Now grab your 3" ring and use some of the Home Depot S hooks to attach it to the chain loops (the ones that were already on the basket). A vice grips works nice to clamp the S hooks shut. Now drape the inner chans in between the outer ones and attach them to a 7" ring with S hooks, below the outer ones.

Where does the electric weed eater come into play with this design? :D
Here is the Mr. Wizard Explaination:
It uses an inexpensive plastic to simulate the sound of a disc hitting the chains at high velocity.
