What is your favorite course in Wisconsin?and Why? Mine is The Village Park Course in Sussex, Wi. Because it looks and feels like a ball golf course and their are some really nice wide open and long fairways to just let loose and a very nice high hill shot on #1. Also lots of different variety shots on lots of the holes, not to many trees(only two holes have hard tree shots). It is a great course. :)

My 2 favorites are:
Token Creek in Madison because it's pay to play which keeps the number of players down and the cleanliness up. Well groomed course with more open fairways.
Standing Rocks near Stevens Point is the other. A beautifull course in the woods but with enough fairway to make most players comfortable. Every hole is a challenge both mentally and physically.
Coming in third is any course that I'm playing.

I agree I love Token Creek also.
My favorite course is Dretzka Park in Milwaukee. By far it has the most variety of holes you can think of out of an 18 hole course. Has a long and short tee pad setup. With 3 to 4 pin placements per hole. Can easily be a lefty or righty course just by different pin spots. Tunnel and open shots. Also is very well groomed. Make sure when youre near by to stop and play a round.

Baraboo Lion's , front 9 is mostly throught the woods and the back 9 is more open and longer holes. 2 sets of tees, the two downsides are the rubber mats which are uneven and the amount af garbage on and around the course.

Sandy Point is the best I've played in Wisconsin. Standing Rock was great, wish I wasn't so hung over when I played there. Yulga was a lot of fun. I've only played 3 other courses in Wisconsin, other than the ones I had noted. I get out there every other year on vacation.

Sandy Point.
Haven't played *too* many, but...
1. Plamann, Appleton
2. Tower Ridge, Eau Claire
3. Wakanda, Menomonie
4. Standing Rocks, Stevens Point
I just played Mt. Morris and it ranks up there in my top three courses I've played so far (20 WI courses so far)
It's a private course, I emailed the Mt. Morris Camp & Conference Centere where the course is located and said I'd be in the area and would like to play the course. I recieved a reply in less than an hour inviting me to play. I stopped in the office to let them know I was there ( the only thing they asked from me to do) andthey gave me a map and score card of the course.
I had the course to myself on a beautiful day and played all 18 holes
200' or less - 3
201'- 250' - 6
251' - 300' - 6
301' - 350' - 3
I only had trouble finding 1 teepad and a couple of baskets, but all and all a great course through open and wooded areas of the camp.
Anyways just had to say this is a definte course to play if you are in the area and contact the owners.
I have played all but 5 wisconsin courses now, so here are my top 6 that stand out.
6. Braem Park- Marshfield- i loved the wooded areas of this park
5 Vollrath- Sheboygan- great old park for disc golf, employs a great variety of shots
4. Elver Park- Madison- awesome park on a big hill- has every kind of shot. And the woods are awesome
3. Blueberry Hill Highbridge- my favorite high bridge course- still really early for these courses, they easily could be the best in WI in a few years after thet are more seasoned
2. Standing Rocks- Great woods, Clean Park, and a ton of different shots.
1. Sandy Point- Awesome DG course, great variety of shots and awesome amenities. I loved the brooms on the tee boxes, i thought this was a great Idea. My favorite shot was the one with the 1950 car in the fairway-this course is unmatched in WI. Go visit if you have the chance.
I know everyone loves Vallarta, but although a nice course, it didn't stand out to me. Hope this list is good

Their Web Site (www.mt-morris.org/ ) I just contacted them through the "contact us" page on their site.
