Best driver ever, blablabla will add another 12 inches to you 300 foot drives.....
Has anyone thrown these yet? To tell us what the real scoop is?

You just beat me to it...Just saw some of those on Ebay this morning.
Anyone already throw it? I don't see anything on their website about it yet.

long understable driver. Sidewinder is to Champion as the Archangle is to DX, at least that is what I understand. Dave covered this on the ask Dave D. thread.

I saw Jim Oates with one this weekend. He was using it as a roller...and very well I might add. Got it at the US Masters 04.

Easiest roller disc I have thrown. Not only does it roll, but it will land at about 70 degrees and slowly straighten then ride out standing up from the limited times I have thrown it. While it lands in a roller ready stance, it doesn't seem to flip over onto it's back too easily, like a lot of discs that you can easily land a roller with. YMMV. It's definitely staying in my bag. I have a redish orange 175 that has been thrown in a parking lot a lot and shows some visible marks (due to landing and rolling on concrete) but it hasn't affected the flight one bit. Beautiful disc.
Also great to throw with hyzer to hug a tree line then slowly turn over into a long downhill glide away from said treeline. It has a lot of glide.
YMMV

so is it one of those... REALLY understable at Highspeed, but then very overstable at low speeds, or is it just a very understable disc??
thanks

For me it just turns, slowly, and gets to a certain point and holds it for some serious glide, or, if you land a roller, it seems to stand up and roll.

unless they got a white one, they are terrible discs

I love the new Sidewinder. Speaking as a not so powerful thrower, the Sidewinder is a great turnover disc. Thrown flat and straight the disc flips and holds the line for me a looooong time. The fade at the end of the flight was very minimal. The disc I threw weighed 159 grams. When I threw the disc with some anhyzer release it would keep turning beautifully for a long time and not come back at the end of the flight. I have always wanted a long turnover disc, and the Sidewinder does that right out of the box, no breaking in necessary. I have not tried rolling the disc yet.
Flight Ratings are: Speed 9, Glide 5, Turn -3, Fade +1
So,
it's basically a little flippier Valk?

Or maybe a faster Leopard.

oneacesofar, I would describe it as a Valkray, or a cross between a Valkyrie and a Stingray. It has more flip than a Valkyrie and more glide too. Same size and feel as a Valk.
Now that sounds like something I have been looking for...
