I found a site that sells a long metal rod(it goes together in seconds)about 10 feet long called a quic-stic! You can buy two and attach them together to make it 20 feet long! You use them if your disc gets stuck in a tree, instead of throwing rocks or sticks or your shoe at your disc, simply take out your quic-stic and poke it out of the tree in just a few seconds. And it can be used to fish your disc out of a creek, pond or lake with the tip edge. I have used it and i saved alot of discs from the bottom of deep creeks and alot of tall trees. The website is called cotscreations.com. Check it out! :) You also get $5.00 off if your a pdga memeber!

I have one. Here's my review in bullet points.
Very well made ... almost too well made. The materials used are a little heavy for what it does, but I suppose if you put two of them together it needs to be pretty heavy so it doesn't bend or collapse. That said, it's a good system, just a little heavy[duty].
It would be nice if a bag or some container was included ... so you could hang it off your bag. It's kind of bulky and takes up most of a large pocket, and sticks out of my Revolution mini bag pocket too much to be carried all the time comfortably. A fitted stuff sack would be really nice ... and considering the price, should be included.
The price is a little steep. Hopefully it will go down if there is more demand for the product. I would have bought two if they were about $10 bucks less each or there was a discount for buying two.
The anodized material is very nice, and looks good. The anodized black wasn't available when I ordered, so I got blue, and it's a nice high quality finish.
It's VERY usefull in some situations. On one of our local courses there are some serious tree hazards and discs OFTEN get stuck in trees. This is a great tool too have along if you really need to play through the tops of those trees. Makes it much easier to GO FOR IT from above.
The disc "hook" on the end is great. It's actually not a hook, but a specially designed tip that [probably] makes it easy to manipulate and hook a disc under water. I haven't had to use it in a water situation, but I can see how it will work ... very nice.

It works best for flipping discs out of the water onto the bank. Not very good at slowly lifting them from the water.
You can separate two of the connected pieces away from the rest slightly, and hang it on the side of your bag (like a paper clip) instead of putting it the whole assembly inside your bag.

I found that after I unscrewed the handle part, the folded stick fits in the side pocket of my bag quite nicely and you only lose about 8 inches in length.
I know the guy that makes these. They are made in Tulsa, Ok. He is always trying to improve on them. He always gives me the latest model to test. Does that say something about my game? :D
Money well spent. You just have to see it in action.
