The 2005 Pro Southern National Championship will be held in Wally Doxey State Park in Mississippi. McDonalds will be the sponser of the tournament giving the purse $4000 added to what the SN players give thru-out the year. In order to be qualified to play in the 2005 SN PRO Championship, you must play in at least one tournament between June 1, 2004 and May 31, 2005. To see a list of SN qualifiers please go here: http://sndg.org/tourn.php

It's being played on a finely groomed Golf Course 'Kirkwood National'. The TD is already busting his tail to make this tourney as best as it can possibly be. It's on a course so long that riding in Golf Carts is required, how rad is that?

Play in a SNDG tourney in the PRO/OPEN division and you are qualified to register.

Thanks for the clarification about qualification, Nelly. As it stands now, anyone who plays in a pro division (Open, Master, Open women, etc) is qualified for the SNPC. An advanced, am, etc., can play in the SNPC IF they play in a PRO division in any SN Qualifier between now and the end of MAY. Of course, those qualifications could change at any time :D rwc3523

Actually those qualifications will NOT change at any moment. That IS the qualification. You must compete in a Pro division (Open/Women/Masters, etc) to play in this year's Pro Championships.

It should be awesome! Hope to see some new faces out there!!

The Tax Tourney will be one of the last events to Qualify!! Not to metion the TT was the 35 richest event.

As of today April 20, 2005, here are the Southern National Tournaments that are left you can qualify for the Pro Championships. You must play as a PRO in at least one Tournament to play in the Pro Championship. Obviously the AM Tournaments listed below won't count towards the Pro Championship. :P

I am of course partial to the best Party Tournament in the South..the 2005 Memphis Dogwood Classic which became the first SN regular season tournament to break 200 in attendance last year by the way. ;)

Memphis is great but the payout will be at the Tax tourney. I doubt that Memphis will have the payout like the Ham. Number of people = more people
More money= happy people
All kidding aside you all need to play an sn event before it is to late.

Hey guys,
I'm Zack Hudson the Offical Tourny Director for the 2005 Pro Southern National Championships. We are working daily getting ready for Sept. 3rd and 4th. As of now, I can I can put the 1st place payout in the open pro division at $1800 just from added money and by the amount of committments for players who will be attending. We played the Kirkwood Ball golf course this past weekend in our annual spring tourny. It is a sweet course. I think I might have had par set a lil' to high , but all in all it was killer.

Not many more tournaments to qualify for the pro championship. Who all is planning on attending?
