I have a few "10x" rocs. I've seen people refer to "18x" rocs which are supposedly 10x rocs in the 8x mold, and 10x rocs. I have some "10x" rocs although the lip seems different on some than on others (lip is more pointed on some vs others). Is that how they are distinguished, or is it some other way? Anyway, how can I tell the difference, and which is which? Thanks!

Well I found out recently a few friends were at a tourny awhile back where Barry Schultz was there playing and someone brought that up about the 18X Rocs and Barry said that was not true about how some 10X rocs were made in the 8X mold. Some vendor claimed he had a stack of them and my friends saw Barry go through everyone and then he stood up and said tell me where they are because there not in that box. He said it was a false rumor about that 18X stuff. Then again Barry could be wrong right? Another hype rumor??

I have a had a couple of the rocs labled ten time that were in transition to what is a 11x roc now same plastic same mold not the harder 10x plastic. that might be where that came from. I heard on the ask Dave D. thread the 11x were more like 8x.
ce
from what i've heard and seen the 11x are basically the same mold as the 8x kc's. the 10x are a slightly modified rancho roc mold.

If you dig into the vast "Ask Dave" file Dave mentions using the 8X mold for some 10X after talking to Cam Todd (pre Discraft) and other Innova sponsered players about what they were looking fo in a Roc.

You haven't seen the 11x we got around here then. They are OK if you like domes.
