what do you use to carry all that plastic? revolution, innova, gateway??
where did you pick it up and how much did you pay?
does anyone out there use multiple bags for different occasions?
i use a large prostyle bag with quadshocks. nice bag. i've had it for over a year now and it seems to be holding up well (i play everyday). i think i paid 30ish for the bag plus the qshocks, maybe 35...so i have about 65-70 in my whole setup.
cheers :D

I use a Revolution Mini daily. It's a fantastic bag. Bought it from Revolution's web site.
I also have a larger Innova deluxe bag. It's ok.
I want a Revolution Texas Club ... hope my wifey buys one for me for Christmas.
Revolution bags are the best ... By FAR.

as do many on this rather large bandwagon ;) i use and love my texas team bag. i got it direct from revolution, great customer service, and i have some older used quadshocks that i was using on my last bag, purchased from that great big modern flea market on the web :)
I use the new Innova Tour Bag (snakeskin material). Paid $60 for it, and the new Phenix Quad shocks $40. For tournaments or going to a new course.
For just playing around my home course I use the Innova standard bag, cause I only need 8 discs on our course, rotate for different setups.

A hunting bag from Wal-Mart that folds into a chair. Has room for about 5-7 discs on each side. Downside is limited spots to put drinks. The upside is the chair and not having to carry a chair extra.
Costs about $18 bucks.

REVOLUTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D Carolina Team bag :D:D:D
Cost me $115 @ Worlds and let me tell you it was worth EVERY PENNY :D
Revolution Club bag, got it direct from Revo for $55. **** fine bag, and I really didn't need all the bells and whistles of the Team bags because I don't tour. The frame is really nice, and keeps my discs well-organized and within reach at all times. I also like the layout of the pockets. The rain fly is a very nice touch, and best of all, the bottle holder is large, sturdy, and easy to get a bottle in and out of, unlike the holder on my old Innova standard bag.
I have a Revolution Club Bag 55 from the website, and I'm extremly pleased with it. It holds more discs than I would ever need. I love the frame and as time goes on I'd like to upgrade to one of the team bags. Definitly a Rev. Bag user
A cross body messenger bag, room for 8-10.

Revolution Team Edition. Now out-of-production, which IMHO is STUPID!!! I am a MTB'r, so I use reg. water bottles. I have no need or desire for a larger water bottle holder. I wanted to get a new one with the vinyl truck tarp fabric but can't since they are no longer made.

I have the Innova Starndard (Olive Green) that I got for my birthday last year.
I am asking for the Rev. Carolina and quadshocks for Christmas. Need more room for discs, and need more room for everything else.

I use a PDGA tour bag with Quad shocks I got when I renewed last year. Great for events when you need extras like umbrellas, pullovers, or towels. SUPPORT the PDGA!!! I still use my beginner INNOVA bag occasionally when I don't need the extra gear.

I normally only carry / use 8 to 10 discs so I usually use my Wall City deluxe bag, paid something like $35 for it. I do own several other bags including a Innova Deluxe, Lightning, and the bag that attaches to a golf cart. I use the Innova deluxe when I need to carry more water in the summer. The Lightning bag holds used discs.
May sound a little unconventional but I use a Rapella soft tackle box/cooler bag I found at Walmart.
The folks at Rapala or grossly misguided, because they have actually created a kick [*****] disc golf bag, not a tackle box.
The main compartment has room for about 14 discs on one side, then some room leftover beside the stack of discs, which you could use for clothing, or in my case a small cynlider cooler bag. On one end there is a zippered pouch, and drink holder, on the other end another zippered pouch. A big front comparment that you could either use for your putters or misc items. And the under side of the top flap is a zippered waterproof pouch which is great for holding lots more stuff. It's also got a great padded shoulder strap. And there are a couple of rings which are perfect for your towel.
It's an amazing bag, and I only paid $31.99 (canadian). I'd recomend this bag for anyone who is looking for something at a reasonable price, and doesn't care about dividers.

I'm proud to say that my best friend and I started this craze. My best friend's stepbrother bought one for hunting / fishing, then we thought it would make a good DG bag. so my buddy's gf bought him one at the Wal-Mart in Athens, TX during the Paul Giles Open. It got lots of comments that weekend :). Mr. Brower also got one (I think that weekend) and Michelle added straps. Now I see people I don't even know carrying these things. it's great. go get one if you want an "alternative" bag. the pokets are water-resistant, and it is quad-shock friendly.
I now know of more than 30 golfers using this bag setup. It's an FLW fishing stool available at Wal-Mart for about $18. AFAIK, only available in black.
I answered an online poll and got a free Lightning bag [small; 8-11 capacity]; plenty enough room for a handful of discs, and extra clothes. I removed the "made in China" label, and covered the advertizing with a large El Dorado Disc Golf patch, one which I designed for just that purpose.
...it also doubles as a bicycle bag; I merely modified the strap, a tad. ;)

5 years ago I bought a brand new Gateway Touring bag from a local who won it and insisted it was just too big for his tastes...$25!
It is/was a khaki color which I camouflaged (out of Winter-time boredom) with some permanent markers made for cloth...greens, browns, & black. I replaced the archaic 'Golf Straps' with some Quads...the only way to go!
It has withstood 3-5 rounds/week 10 months of the year ever since...and is still going pretty strong with some tears from wear... Its days are numbered...a Revolution bag is in my future next Spring!

I carry the PDGA tour bag with quad-shocks that I won earlier this year, it replaced a lightning bag w/ gateway pack straps I had been using for a year or two(so I passed it on to a friend who is still using it). I also have an old wall city mega cube I use for practice rounds.

Looks like Santa is going to be busy delivering REVOLUTION bags this year! Yeah baby ... I'll be waiting for mine. CRIMSON! whoohoo! :D
One friggin' large and in charge LIGHTNING bag! $15 two years ago and not a single rip. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it, all you Revolution sell-outs.
I would use a Gateway or Revolution bag only if they gave it to me.
innova tour bag, this thing is very durable- ive kicked it, stomped it, thrown it, dragged it, driven it off the tee, tossed it down huge hills, you name it and its still in impecable shape

I would use a Gateway or Revolution bag only if they gave it to me.
I had A Gateway tour bag given to me (well really I won it but close enough). I liked it so much that when I wore it out 5 years later I got another one. This one's not close to wearing out but it is looking a little ugly. And guess what bag I'll replace this one with. Anyone....
Don't get me wrong, the Revolution bags are great, but for the money I'l go with another GDS tour bag any day(or maybe a backpack, decisions, decisions).
I hear lots of nice things 'bout the revolution bags. I was wondering how many people or if anyone dislikes the frame and prefers the accordian style.
I have never seen a revolution bag besides the pictures at their site, but the frame seems like it might make the bag bulky.
I personally love the frame. It's what convinced me to go with a revolution bag. I like that it is easy to grab discs and put them back with out having to look at what I'm doing. I also like that when I set the bag down it has a lot of stability and doesn't tip over.

I have a Gateway backpack, and I love it! Holds enough discs, and is real easy on the back.
I used to have a lightning bag with an accordian style frame, but now I have the Revolution Texas bag. The frame is great. With the accordian style, the bag can get dirty inside the accordian and retain moisture, so that even if you dry your discs off, the accordian can make them wet again. (Especially in Oregon.) I think that the only time the revolution style open frame wouldn't be prefferable is if a person carried not enough discs to hold them up straight. Overall, I think the frame is light enough to not be noticable, espsecially if you have quad shocks. YMMV

One of my friends bought a Rev. bag and took the frame out. He said it is much lighter now. I think I would leave it in, but that's just me. My Gateway tour bag is holding up nicely! :D
