I am sure many of you got this same email, but I want to make sure EVERYONE knows about this crap. I have contact info for the Hovey's if anyone has any info. PM me. Here is the email I got:
Bartholomew has always been one of our favorite courses in Austin and
John has played it almost every weekday at lunch for months now but
after today we've lost that loving feeling. John stopped his play today
(10/27 approx. 1:00pm) to help a guy push his dead vehicle up 51st,
sadly leaving his bag in the grass with approx. $300 in plastic (a few
discs that will be difficult to replace), his cell phone, car keys and
watch in it. In reward for his being a good samaritan, his bag was
stolen by two guys (Hispanic?) in a puke orange colored old car
(Maverick or Gremlin maybe?). They took off in the opposite direction
down 51st, leaving John stranded and ultimately doused upon by the rain
as he baby-sat our car fearing the guys would come back and steal it
too. If anyone knows anything or comes across any of his goods (who
knows what they'll do with the plastic which is all marked), please
e-mail at [withheld]or phone at [withheld]. We're really upset
as we don't feel like we can ever take that car to Bart again, fearing
it would be stolen. Disc golfers beware...
Thanks!
