I used play disc golf several years ago. I want to start playing again. I've got several old innova discs. Just wondering what are some good mid and long range drivers for beginners? I would say that my throw is not that hard and all I really want is for the disc to fly straight.

Thanks!

Try any of the following:

Drivers: Gateway Sabre
Innova Cobra
Innova Leapord

Midrange: Gateway Element
Discraft Comet
Millenium Aurora MS

Putter: Gateway Wizard

Might consider a Leopard (innova) for a long range driver. For midrange, you might like to try a Spider (innova).

If you want to try throwing Discraft (which I would suggest), an XL is a good idea, and for midrange, I would suggest a Buzz.

For gateway, Deadhead already covered you :)

I would say try a 150-165g Innova Leopard, a 160-170 Discraft Comet and any popular putter that feels good in your hand around 170-175g.
Just get these discs and play with them for a while and once you can get them to go left, right and straight, move up to heavier and faster discs.
Good luck and have fun.
Cheers,
Matt

Hey, let's not get personal :(
Besides, I just started working out last week, next time you see me you might not recognize me. (and I won't be able to hide behind tee signs anymore either :) )
